Haha, the temptation to do it just so I could do "this" or "that" myself has been there many times, but I've been in similar boats before, and I know how much this stuff gets a hold of me and next thing I know I'm a slave to my own thirst for making more and more and all my time goes into developing stuff and never playing the game I'm making stuff for, and that's where I start losing my enjoyment of the game, when I can't play it without seeing nothing but bugs, missing features, new ideas, or just more things to work on, and back to it I go, without ever being able to freely enjoy the game without any worries again. It has a bit to do with me being a bit too much of a perfectionist and obsessed with "solving puzzles" every time I see something that picks my brain too.escplan9 wrote:BTW DoctorWeird you really should come join the dev team
So I try to stick to just being a normal user who sometimes tries to be of help with his stupidly long assortment of Magic mechanics knowledge he gathered through the years by making unnecessarily long posts that bore most everyone who reads them, haha.

It's cool. I'm very much the same way personality wise. I still have plenty of time to enjoy the game. I just have been liking being able to help out with this project - and things have been crazy since the full spoilers of SOI! First time working as a dev with XMage during a new set reveal.
I'm fine with you being a good backseat developer. You've been helpful at least a few times here for us in quickly finding the problems and clarifying issues.

Silkwrap was unable to target Hangarback Walker despite Walker's cmc while on the battlefield being 0.

Prized Amalgam recursion ability was triggering with opponent's creatures returning from the graveyard ala Ojutai's Command.

In the middle of a game, I suddenly wasn't able to cast spells or tap lands during my main phase.
Details:
I was playing against a human.
I joined a SOIx3 draft. All was fine until match 1 game 3. I got to a board state where, on my turn, during my first main phase, I cast Lightning Axe (discarding a Mountain) to kill an opponent's creature. It resolved, but once the stack was empty, I wasn't able to cast the creature in my hand, or even tap lands. I was able to communicate with my opponent through chat, but I couldn't do anything on the board. I tried resetting current auto-confirms and cancelling current skip requests just to hope they'd allow me to do something, but that didn't work. I noticed my clock was at about 10:00 when this happened, but despite waiting for 10 minutes, I wasn't never able to tap my lands or cast my spell.
Then it might be worth noting that after I got the message that I'd lost the game for being inactive for 600 seconds, I conceded the game. But the window stayed open for another several minutes, even after my clock reached 0:00.
Here's a game log:
I'd add a download link for the logs of my draft and all 3 games in the first match, but then "Your post looks too spamy for a new user, please remove off-site URLs."

Casting Gravecrawler from the graveyard fails to resurrect Prized Amalgam.

Centaur Vinecrasher's ability isn't correctly triggering when a land enters the graveyard.
The Gitrog Monster's ability to draw a card when a land hits the graveyard isn't triggering with sacrificing fetch lands, Command Beacon and cycling lands. Not sure if anything else does not work.

Thing in the ice flip bouncing clue token.
EDIT: Oh no wait now I realize it bounced the target for the clue token spell and fizzled it. I'm a giant idiot

Jace, Unraveller of Secrets is currently bugged and will enter with 0 loyalty and immediately be sent to the graveyard.

Desertion- it is allowing planeswalkers to be taken when countered. I encountered this during a one on one Commander game against a human opponent

Eerie Interlude, when exiling multiple creatures, only brings one of them back. I simultaneously blinked an Eternal Witness, a Kitchen Finks and a Siege Rhino, and only got back the Finks. Same result when blinking just the Finks and Rhino. Blinking only the Rhino worked normally.
