This is because when a player leaves a game (conceding, losing, etc.), all of the cards they own cease to exist immediately. In order for a card exiled with, for example, Oblivion Ring, to return to the game, the "When Oblivion Ring leaves the battlefield" trigger would need to go on the stack and resolve; except, for something to go on the stack it needs to have a source and a controller of said source; since neither the Oblivion Ring neither its controller "exist" in the game anymore, it just does nothing, and thus, the exiled card remains exiled forever. This is how it works in paper Magic as well, even if some people might overlook these rules when playing casually.

When a player times out they automatically concede from the game. Similarly to what I said above, when a player leaves a game, all the cards they own leave with them. You don't get to kill Johnny off but also keep his shiny little Blood Tyrant on your side of the table until the game ends, as convenient as it could be. Again, this is how it works rule-wise, when a player leaves a game, all their cards leave with him, it's not just an XMage thing.

Thats fair enough i hope my other suggestions that arent on that topic are added.

In regards to conceding though now i find myself thinking alot of the time though if i do this will that person strategically concede which i dont ever think was the intent of those rules since MTG was originaly intended for 1v1 as far as i know vs commander being 3 or more and casual format where house rules are encouraged and maybe could be implemented as a non default option. My points are speculation however though and maybe strategic conceding between declaring blockers and damage steps was intended in a ffa format but i feel this discussion would be more healthy over at the official commander forums so i digress. some may say i might just run an unfair deck but i run no counters and no real boardwipes or strax as i hate them with the exception of supper high cost value creature cards no infinite combos either.

I really appreciate you coming with facts to me on this as i did find it confusing, :)i dont want anyone to read further into this comment though writing this may make someone this is not sarcasm and is my genuine thoughts.

Can we get rid of the chat ban list and why is it so strict.

You cant even type names of certain magic cards because its so strict. and you have to retype your whole message every time if your going to censor at least do what steam does which is puts the whole word into love hearts as its very annoying having to retype the whole message or enable a "mature" option. on top of this its not even good at blocking words. you just have to put a space in the middle of the banned word and itgoes through aswell none of the acronyms that swear are banned.

Pls, can you do anything about mindslaver+academy ruins lock? Some automatic win? There is trolls, that will not concede when combo is active.

I played Selvala, Heart of the Wilds and noticed that her ability is really annoying to use if you have very powerful creatures in play. Having to choose the color and click ok for each mana is really annoying when you have to do it 10+ times and only want one kind of mana. Could there be an option added to select one color for all the triggers rather than each individually?

Similar to Xartah's post; when attacking with multiple creatures with Stonehoof Chieftain on field, clicking his effect to apply to the stack for every creature (Lets just leave it at my client ran out of ram and crashed before I could finish assigning his stack...) is tedious at best for an effect that should automatically be applied anyways. Would be nice if it just did it without needing instruction.

There is context highlighting in the chat for cards beyond 1.4.20V0. You will be able to type [Damnation] if you want to write that card or [Grapeshot] as another example of a card that would currently be filtered (note the open/closed square brace).

Can't you right click and say 'Put this type of triggered ability on the stack first'?

I have a twofold suggestion:

I would really appreciate an "alt-tab" sort of shortcut to switch between client windows for the times when I am playing against one (or more) really slow opponents. So I could switch to the Deck Editor, work on my deck, then easily switch back to the game when something happens. Mousing over to Window > Game then Window > Deck Editor is clunky and takes a while.

On that last note, it would be good to have a simple notification popup when I get priority in-game (I believe MTGO does this). Again, with slow opponents, there's no good way to do anything else while waiting for them to make a play (browse the web, use the Deck Editor, etc.). I never know exactly when I should get back to the game, so I have to keep checking over and over. This popup should come up only when the game window is not active to avoid being annoying.

Thank you for adding the "Select by > Search" function to the Deck Editor. However, I don't find it super useful (yet). The green highlights bleed down to cover more than just each selected card, to make it seem like many more cards are selected. And as far as I know, there is no numerical count of the selected query once you make it, so I am forced to awkwardly try to count the green highlights, which is difficult because of the previous point and especially cumbersome on a large deck (EDH).

I would suggest (1) making the green highlight cover just the upper type line of the card and (2) adding a "count" somewhere in like a status bar or something. After all, there are counts now for Artifacts, Creatures, Enchantments, etc.

Thanks!

I have two suggestions. There might be ways to solve them with existing code but I couldn't find how.

First, I like the card image that shows when you hover a card. Anyway, there is a lot of unused space underneath. Couldn't it be made so the chat and the game log can be moved under this so everything fits in one column?

(This is what I mean imgur com/a/pQWv8)

Secondly, what's the best way to know what's exiled with a oblivion stone type card?

If you drag the selected cards to a new column, it will tell you the count at the top for the number of cards that you have selected.

Thank you, I didn't think of this. However, it still seems very clunky to the point where I can't imagine myself going through the trouble of doing it. If I want a count, I might as well just count in my head if I'm clicking and dragging individual cards anyway.
