This is because when a player leaves a game (conceding, losing, etc.), all of the cards they own cease to exist immediately. In order for a card exiled with, for example, Oblivion Ring, to return to the game, the "When Oblivion Ring leaves the battlefield" trigger would need to go on the stack and resolve; except, for something to go on the stack it needs to have a source and a controller of said source; since neither the Oblivion Ring neither its controller "exist" in the game anymore, it just does nothing, and thus, the exiled card remains exiled forever. This is how it works in paper Magic as well, even if some people might overlook these rules when playing casually.Cryptic Bore wrote:when someone leaves or concedes on xmage and they exiled a card with an enchantment that says when this enchantment leaves the battle field return exiled card, and it never returns on this trigger of them leaving the game.
When a player times out they automatically concede from the game. Similarly to what I said above, when a player leaves a game, all the cards they own leave with them. You don't get to kill Johnny off but also keep his shiny little Blood Tyrant on your side of the table until the game ends, as convenient as it could be. Again, this is how it works rule-wise, when a player leaves a game, all their cards leave with him, it's not just an XMage thing.Cryptic Bore wrote:if someone times out make it so you dont loose there cards that your in control of
There is context highlighting in the chat for cards beyond 1.4.20V0. You will be able to type [Damnation] if you want to write that card or [Grapeshot] as another example of a card that would currently be filtered (note the open/closed square brace).Cryptic Bore wrote:Can we get rid of the chat ban list and why is it so strict.
You cant even type names of certain magic cards because its so strict. and you have to retype your whole message every time if your going to censor at least do what steam does which is puts the whole word into love hearts as its very annoying having to retype the whole message or enable a "mature" option. on top of this its not even good at blocking words. you just have to put a space in the middle of the banned word and itgoes through aswell none of the acronyms that swear are banned.
Can't you right click and say 'Put this type of triggered ability on the stack first'?BlackWyvern wrote:Similar to Xartah's post; when attacking with multiple creatures with Stonehoof Chieftain on field, clicking his effect to apply to the stack for every creature (Lets just leave it at my client ran out of ram and crashed before I could finish assigning his stack...) is tedious at best for an effect that should automatically be applied anyways. Would be nice if it just did it without needing instruction.
If you drag the selected cards to a new column, it will tell you the count at the top for the number of cards that you have selected.cheddarsuave wrote: And as far as I know, there is no numerical count of the selected query once you make it
Thank you, I didn't think of this. However, it still seems very clunky to the point where I can't imagine myself going through the trouble of doing it. If I want a count, I might as well just count in my head if I'm clicking and dragging individual cards anyway.spjspj wrote:If you drag the selected cards to a new column, it will tell you the count at the top for the number of cards that you have selected.cheddarsuave wrote: And as far as I know, there is no numerical count of the selected query once you make it
