Looking into supporting casting conditions such as "Cast SN only ...", then as a variant we can add AI specific hints with "AI Cast SN only ..."ShawnieBoy wrote:Hopefully Melvin might be able to do some code-magic with the AI for these scenarios.

Added AI specific restrictions to the mentioned cards in https://code.google.com/p/magarena/sour ... d4a9a2ac8cPalladiaMors wrote:Monte Carlo (and I think Vegas as well) very consistently casts "target player sacrifices a creature" spells (Diabolic Edict, Chainer's Edict, Devour Flesh) when there are no creatures in play. I've no idea how to solve this, maybe some kind of hint for the AI could be added to the cards?

Incase you want to add the cards I mentioned too. There are loads more I expect I can add them when I notice if you want.muppet wrote:Not a bug. Another A.I. fix you might want to consider is when a card has no targets but actually needs them to do anything useful. Examples are Wrath effects and cards that make the opp sacrifice creatures. Currently the A.I. will happily play them and have no effect. For example Supreme Verdict, Cruel Edict, Detention Sphere.

I think there's something wrong with Vampire Bats, I can't get it to activate its ability more than once each turn.
Edit: Pit Imp has the same problem. I think the "no more than twice" code is really working as "no more than once".

Hmm, I dunno - I immediately thought of the opponent having no creatures and 1 life, and the AI refusing to cast this...muppet wrote:continuing the no target spells Geth's Verdict.

i'm not sure which topic i should put this on.
if anyone authorized to relocate this post to a proper topic, its fine for me,
anyway, since the ver 1.53 update the card preview in the deckbuilder seemed oversized for my screen resolution (1366 x 768 pix). i would prefer to be able to read the entire text without scrolling. i don't mind a bit of blurry / mozaic image.
And option to shrink the font of the cardlist would be very appreciated. with smaller font size, would be easier to have an overview of the decklist.
thanx.

Should have a size-image-to-fit update ready very soon (hopefully for the August 30 release). See related issue 637.hong yie wrote:i'm not sure which topic i should put this on.

You can adjust the vertical space using the splitter although I appreciate that you do not have much to play with. How about an option to split horizontally?hong yie wrote:And option to shrink the font of the cardlist would be very appreciated. with smaller font size, would be easier to have an overview of the decklist.

split horizontal could help too. anything that can give a bit of zoom-out feel. You can adjust the vertical space using the splitter although I appreciate that you do not have much to play with. How about an option to split horizontally?
