Manalink Update Mar 29 2009

Postby jatill » 29 Mar 2009, 19:46

I wasn't planning on coding for a while, but Lonefox got busy, so I churned on. I'm really hoping someone else is interested in doing some coding work soon, since it's not a hobby I'll pursue alone. Anyway...

Wow, you read my mind! My most recent deck was a Llurghoyf deck that is really fun to play, and this is a perfect addition! Not only that, but you did one of my top ten wishlist cards, Wasteland! I didn't realize force of will or tinker had any bugs, though. I've used tinker a ton, and never had any problem at all with it, but force of will has only been in one of my decks so far, but it didn't cause any trouble.

They were minor bugs. tinker was only broken when you searched for a cheaper artifact, and Force when you paid mana and had no other blue cards.

Oh, that explains it then. I usually junked a mox or something for tinker to get a fatty like triskelion or whatever :p

Yes, it was. But then it only had the creatures in from Alpha, now it's everything.

Great update as usual. I hope you do make these out of pleasure and not under a feeling of pressure. It probably feels a little lonely being to me one of the most active writers in the games progress. Just know others will come and go. I have 2 months of school left and after finishing it up I'd like to take the time to learn C. I've made mods for D2 and tons of maps for Warcraft 3, some even got decent play. I hope to join you guys sometime this summer but I will have to learn not only the language but I will have to read all the guides here (find compilers) also, so I might not be making much of anything until later this year. I'm so happy this game isn't dead and I would love to add to it's life also. I just hope this whole thing don't get shut down by WotC. It seems to good to be true but, then again the diablo 2 mods I played and made were in the same area as this I guess.
