Manalink Update Mar 31 2009 - jatill's wishlist

Postby jatill » 31 Mar 2009, 17:07

Working off my own wishlist this time :)

http://www.savefile.com/files/1997761

adds:
Stonybrook Banneret (finally nailed the cost reduction problem)
Helm of Awakening
Sage's Dousing
Spell Snare (Tarmogofy insurance)
Cursecatcher
Nyxathid
Scepter of Fugue
Gaddock Teeg

bug fixes: (I'm out of bugs I can easily fix now)
-update Cabal Ritual mana cost
-add Cloudgoat Ranger 2nd ability
-remove flying from Nantuko Husk
-count Tribal for Tarmogoyf (1st attempt, might not work 100%)
-Make Bitterblossom Tribal
-remove trample from Tarmogofy (thought I did this last time...)
-fix zombie master + phyrexian ghoul/carnophage interaction

new bugs:
Nyxathid's P/T doesn't update until you receive priority

Weird about Bitterblossom. I hope that can be fixed.

glimpse of nature
master transmuter

I don't see Mystic snake or Angel of Desolation in your list...how come ? (was this a kind of Innuendo ? arf, maybe..... I meann no ! perhaps !)

Meddling mage and Master transmuter..... :D :D that would really rock !! Sneak attack ! (what Invasion lands do you want to do ? the common ones that sac for opposite color ? just curious

......Plumeveil ???? is there something on that card I haven't read right ?

Plumeveil is a good card due to it acting like removal that stays around. The common tactic is wait for opponent to attack drop plumeveil as flash then block.

Now if he can't deal 4 damage to your plumeveil or more you now have a wall+psuedo removal. The card is not a insane bomb but it has found its way into quite a few control decks.

It has to be one of the best walls ever made.

I have a doubt. I used to press right click on the first button of the filter buttons into the deck builder (other cards) and it showed a menu with new editions marked or unmarked, (the new cards, 8th edition, legends...) but since the two last upgrades I suppose, this has been disabled, or dissapeared. Is it normal? can not be filtered partially the new cards now?

I dont know if this should go into the bug forum because i dont know if is a bug or something different.

Thanks!! Greetings.

Mmmmm.. Flash! =P~

Couldn't agree more about Plumeveil!

Not bad for a 3 drop that can spoil an opponents flyer that you can sucker into attacking you when your side of the table is bereft of any flyers!

And this is no chump blocking weenie at 4 Power either. 8)

Congrats on conquering the mana reduction bug. I love those cards and hope to see the Medallions coming soon. I'm going to go check out and see how the new reduction is working with buyback cards. Nyxathid and Gaddock Teeg will add a lot of new flavor and deck ideas for myself and others. Great work here. :D

Still not working there, unfortunately. Buy back would need to be re-written.
