I have seen Many wondrous things in life...things your mortal mind could not imagine : banshees and werewolves, Unicorns mating in the morning dew, Flocks of graceful giant Snorkelwonkers flying through the gates of Orion, Bands of discheveled elves drinking beer and having a row in a smoky bar, cats playing poker, the solution to world hunger, the fifth rider of the Apocalypse, the incredulous eyes of my psychologist when I tell him all this..... but, I've never seen the Ai use equipment.jatill wrote:

....however, this is biased because I don't use equipment either.

Just played a game where AI had Bonesplitter and wasn't using it. Perhaps the reason it used Cranial Plating against Evil_Clone is the instant ability; maybe it can't figure out how to use it as a sorcery? I have equipment in a few decks, but there are so many decks in my directory that the AI doesn't usually end up getting one that has equipment in it. Now that skullclamp seems to be working, I'll probably use that a lot more. Empyrial Plate is pretty sick, too, in a weenie deck you could be hitting with a 7/7 or 8/8 on turn 3. The rest of the equipment is interesting, and I throw it in my casual decks sometimes, but usually the AI seems to play the same couple decks over and over when it's on gauntlet mode. (I get really tired of royal assassin and certain recurring cards like that :p I downloaded some decks from someone here and I swear all their decks were royal assassin, sengir vampires, nettling imps lol)

I think this is about as far as we can go with bugs, for now. Next stop Avatars.
Bugs fixed:
-Bringers: only trigger during the upkeep
-Progenitus: always shuffle to deck from grave
-Anger: work for AI
-Prosperity, Matrial Coup: don't get countered by responding with another spell
-Kokusho: remove black mana symbol
-Exalted, Goblin Piledriver: fix timing for these, again. I really think I got it this time.
-Pernicious Deed: don't kill legacy effects
-Upheaval: don't bounce cracked fetchlands
-Hybrid: make remaining hybrid cards use their actual hybrid costs
(updating hybrid was a rewrite, so let me know if any new bugs come out of this.)
This update includes Orion's very recent CSV update as well. (non-filtered version)
Edit: my hard drive is going in for repairs this weekend. Wish me luck that I don't lose everthing magic related

You gotta have a back up of all your files people!jatill wrote:

External drives are very cheap today. Everyone should have at least one and get in the habit of backing up your data!
No excuses for losing your data. Take it from someone who has dealt with many people calling me about their data going bye bye!
Them: " What can I do?!"
Me: " Uhmm... it's a little late now!"
Me: "Why didn't you back up your data as I told you to do before?"
Them: " Uhm.. err.. well!!"
Me: "Ya, that's what I thought!"
Back up what you can jatill either on DVD or CD in the meantime BEFORE you bring in your drive for repairs!

'Twas nothing left for us to save
In the peat-filled bogs of Cannelbrae.

I was lured once into uploading my stuff on a server (which I originally didn't want to do) it took forever and I lost about 25 % of my data. never, ever do that

Jatill,
I have problems to play online.
When I play for network with a friend while I play the program it is hung.
Both we use Windows Vista.
Not it that happens that we are playing and suddenly is hung.
I have tried with everything and not that can be.
Do you investigate this topic to see if you can arrange it?
Regards and graces(thanks)
