Somehow I get the feeling we'll see a lot of them in the next tournament. I know I made the deck already

Hehe, yeah I was expecting lots of Emrakul this time around; that's why I put in the Bribery in my deck :p I've got an idea for next time (not involving eldrazi) that I think will be pretty good, as long as I can find a usable mana base the AI won't suck with; it would have to be 3 or 4 colours so it might be hard. I'm 100% definitely going to test an eldrazi deck, but unless it performs well I'm not submitting it in August :p

The AI isn't great with mine but since I've done well in the last tournaments I think I can allow myself for a fun deck for players :)

If I can ever manage to place highly, the month after that I'm going to make a Battle of Wits deck :)

If Eldrazi Temple is possible, (and it apparently is) does that mean a card like Smokebraider is also possible? I just didn't think cards that had steep restrictions on how the mana was to be used could be done. It must use the Rules Engine somehow, or else it does something *really* clever I haven't thought of :p

Not sure how many elementals are in the game right now to make smokebraider worth anything at all.

This is a nice update but its probably the least eternal competitive one so far. Doubt we want to use up another 10 slots putting in 10 great elementals/changelings that only go in one deck.

According to DeckEditor we have 36 elemental type creature in Constructed and 44 in Custom...going to test some drazzi deck to check if the AI can at least sac spawn, but for sure it's a long game type deck that might be killed before even casting a creature.

I tested half of the cards and they work fine, I especially like how Eldrazi Temple was done, a simple yet effective idea. Only thing is that Eye of Ugin and Eldrazi Temple don't reduce the mana cost of All Is Dust as they do for Eldrazi Conscription and other colorless eldrazi cards.

Well a lot of those are winnars like..

Fire Elemental
Air Elemental

So yeah I mean how many good ones are there takes a bit more investigation.

I'm silly enough that I *would* make an elemental themed deck if stuff like that were coded, but the question was more just as an example to know whether it's possible. Soldevi Machinist and Ancient Ziggurat are two more examples of the sort of thing I mean.

I forgot to mark it as Eldrazi. I fixed this and several other bugs (notable Artisan doesn't return anything in that version), and will re-upload Monday.

Eldrazi Template is just a clever hack. The code says that if it is untapped, colorless eldrazi cost 1 less to cast. So in most cases it works exactly the same, but there are some edge cases.

The one bug that I cannot fix is that Eldrazi Spawn that have summoning sickness can't be auto-mana'd when paying for a spell. You need to click on them before you cast the spell to use their mana.

FYI Here's the eldrazi deck I've been testing with. I ran it against the current set of tournament decks, and the only loss I took as the human was against aww's deck when I got control magic'd twice with no All is Dust to come back.
