[fixed/closed]Doomsday controller can't search graveyard

Postby Nexhro » 02 Oct 2014, 21:29

Describe the Bug:
When Doomsday resolves, its controller doesn't get a chance to search his/her graveyard for cards.

Clicking on empty space in the library viewer window results in skipping one of the five picks instead of opening the graveyard viewer.

Which card did behave improperly ?
Doomsday

Which update are you using?(date, name)Which type(Duel,Gauntlet,Sealed Deck)
CoRM15 mini3, duel

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
When Doomsday resolves, its controller gets a chance to search his/her graveyard for cards.

Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?

There was another card with similar problem which I don't remember if it got fixed.
As mentioned done button or anywhere blank on the window - when clicked they should close Library and then open graveyard instead of skipping picks which is wrong as you have to target 5 cards from both places if you have 5 or more.or get all 4 and less if there are no 5 and more cards left.

The card you're thinking of is probably Boonweaver Giant, which is currently pending.

interface works great, but if you choose any cards from your gy then the 5 cards you end up with aren't the ones you picked.

and as a side note, how come only some people see a 'done' button on selection windows?

Either it has to do with windows OS version or something is missing from people that don't see the Done button.
I can only say that I still have windows XP and done is there. Can anyone confirm that he has windows 7 or 8 and can see the done button?

Windows 7, but in my case I resolved it by cleaning the ML3 theme (removing all unnecessary files like BMP or PNG vs PIC, some were over ridding others

For those of us unfamiliar with the implementation of themes, would it be possible for a tutorial on that stassy? Considering the number of times it comes up, resolving this would probably be useful.

Well, it's more thanks to Sonic that I was able to clean my Magic folder with his simple theme.

I will have to have one of my old Magic folder that was hiding the done button in order to know what got it right :P

Argh, unfortunately I remember that the only way to make the done button appear was to disable Aero theme in windows 7, will have to put that in the faq.

To high a price to pay, but thanks for the answer stassy. I have always wondered about that. For the longest time I thought you and AJ just had some super secret special version.
