[confirmed]Hypersonic Dragon: Omniscience, bad cast
by Nexhro » 30 May 2014, 20:39
Describe the Bug:
1) The cost of a sorcery cast by selecting it from the card selection window that pops up when clicking Hypersonic Dragon is not reduced to zero when its owner controls Omniscience (unless the selected spell is All is Dust). Only the amount of colorless mana that has to be paid is reduced to zero.
2) If Hypersonic Dragon's controller has more than 1 sorcery in hand and selects a sorcery spell after clicking on Dragon, a random spell from hand will be cast after mana has been paid for the selected spell. This doesn't seem to happen if Hypersonic Dragon is double-clicked prior to selecting the spell (and lands are auto-tapped).
For example: When I had Show and Tell and Arc Lightning in hand, selected Show and Tell via Hypersonic Dragon, and paid , Arc Lightning was cast.
In another instance, I had Show and Tell, Concentrate and Time Warp in hand, selected Time Warp via Dragon, and paid . Omniscience was cast from hand instead of the selected Time Warp.
Which card did behave improperly ?
Hypersonic Dragon
Which update are you using?(date, name)Which type(Duel,Gauntlet,Sealed Deck)
JOU v1, duel
What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
1) Omniscience reduces the cost of sorceries cast via Hypersonic Dragon's ability to zero.
2) When a sorcery spell is selected via Hypersonic Dragon's ability, that spell is cast after paying its mana cost.
Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?

Fixed the second bug in b29d49f
The first one is more problematic, stay tuned.
