[confirmed]Crookclaw Transmuter bad ability

Describe the Bug:
AI attacked with Grenzo's Cutthroat,Chartooth Cougar and Ashenmoor Gouger I cast Crookclaw Transmuter and with it's etb I target Crookclaw Transmuter so now is 1/3.I block with Copperhorn Scout Chartooth Cougar and with Crookclaw Transmuter Grenzo's Cutthroat.Grenzo's Cutthroat died but so did my Crookclaw Transmuter.

Which card did behave improperly ?

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
Crookclaw Transmuter doesn't die if dealt 1 damage from Grenzo's Cutthroat.

Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?
Affects all such cards or at least the ones that target.

Definitely Crookclaw Transmuter. When Gaea's Anthem is in play it doesn't die, p/t remain switched till EOT and correct damage is done.
