Baby Friar

Hey all,
Just wanted to announce to the Forge forums that I had my first born, a little boy yesterday morning. We all know the track record of Forge developers and newborns, so we'll see how that goes. I was just working on Grinning Totem, so we'll see if I can at least get that functioning before I go too awol. I'll try to at least keep the same level of board presence up, but we'll see. Anyway, keep up the good work everyone.
Take care

Congrats on that kid!
May he grow strong and logical.
Thanks for your contributions so far!
I honestly think development will take a serious hit without your input, but he, life comes first
Best wishes and hope to see you pass by anyway!

Congratulations, Sol!
Two thoughts from a guy who's been there: first, you actually will have some downtime in small amounts while the baby's sleeping after a feed and changing. An hour here, a hour there, but it adds up to more than you think right now. However, you'll probably have better ways to spend it than swatting bugs or hanging out on here - naps are very good!
Second, babies get really fun around 5 or 6 months. They're eating, sleeping, crying, and diaper-filling machines until then, but it all becomes very worth it when they start smiling, grabbing at stuff, and generally interacting with you.
Enjoy every phase, because you only get each one once! (Well, per kid...)

Congratulations. Hopefully the project lasts long enough where Baby Friar can contribute.
