With a bit of luck, (and some lugging of boxes) I'll have my PC set up sometime today. (Move pretty much finished) I'll have a look at these then.
Thanks for the bug-hunting

MagicChangeCountersAction is no longer present in Magarena 1.64 - sounds like you need to update the scripts folder.kannikkiy wrote:AEther Figment caused to crash

May also be related to the non-flashback issue, I'm unable to replicate it. All flashback spells (Including call of the herd) are testing fine.

I have found the source of crash. Recently I upgraded the Magarena to the ver. 1.65, posted by Lodici. When I reinstall build 1.64 all problems were resolved.ShawnieBoy wrote:MagicChangeCountersAction is no longer present in Magarena 1.64 - sounds like you need to update the scripts folder.

That does not exactly bode well for 1.65 then. When you install 1.65 do you overwrite the existing install or do you extract to a new folder?kannikkiy wrote:I have found the source of crash. Not been able to reliably test this (The test engine doesn't allow setting up equipment or auras already attached to permanents, and the AI has other plans on how to use them).sponeta wrote:AI had attached two Shurikens to a creature. When the AI activated the ability given by Shuriken ability, both Shurikens were unattached at the same time.
Did you end up gaining control of both of them?
Strange that it doesn't occur with player activation.
The only thing I can think of is that if you didn't gain control of them, the AI targeted the equipped creature with one and killed it? (Hard to say without a log)

I installed 1.65 in the same folder as 1.64 with overwriting.Lodici wrote:When you install 1.65 do you overwrite the existing install or do you extract to a new folder?

That is the reason why you were having problems. You should always extract the zip file to a new folder and import your settings from the previous version.kannikkiy wrote:I installed 1.65 in the same folder as 1.64 with overwriting.
