@Xyx: yeah I noticed that too with Bloodthrone Vampire.
AI does attack me while I had stronger creatures. Specially if AI does have no other creatures. And even if he had creatures to sacrifice he didnt.

AI is at 4 life and has at least five 2/4s. I attack with a 4/7. It chump blocks, one at a time, turn after turn, instead of gang-blocking the problem to death.

More evidence that the AI gets suicidal when it has total power > my life total on board:
I'm at 2 life and have 2 Azure Drake.
AI has 1 Aisling Leprechaun. Does not attack, plays second Aisling Leprechaun.
Next turn, AI attacks with both. I block both, they die for nothing.
Either the AI expects me to just take lethal, or there's something in the attack algorithm that completely ignores my blockers once I get into lethal range.

Also similar Situation:
AI does attack all in, I bearly survive. (Without doing something against it)
Now I attack all in and kill the AI.
Imo the AI should only attack all in if it's sure it can kill me.

I've noticed similar behavior as a last-ditch effort. Are you sure the AI wasn't dead on board regardless?

Hm last time if I remember correct.
AI had a stronger board on the field. I only could win because the AI goes all in.
I need to see when it did happen again.
==
About the attack and block, I need to check if it does still happen but AI does attack me with a 2/2 while I control two 1/3.

I have three giant blockers and 1 life. AI only has Mons's Goblin Raiders. Turns it sideways.
There's some grievous error in the AI's combat math where it completely ignores blockers once AI's total power >= my life.

When the AI controls a Propaganda effect (in this case Collective Restraint) it doesn't calculate the attack tax in determining whether or not it loses on a crackback attack.
Example:
AI has a 9/9 Flying Draco on the board, I have a 3/2 Flyer and lots and lots of damage on the ground. If I chump his Draco, I would win on the attack, except I can't pay 10 per attacker to even attack with more than one of them.

This bears reiterating. Once the AI has lethal, it enters chump attack mode and just starts throwing away its creatures.Xyx wrote:There's some grievous error in the AI's combat math where it completely ignores blockers once AI's total power >= my life.

I have Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet and 17 life. AI has Zhalfirin Commander and Searing Spear Askari. AI attacks with only the Zhalfirin Commander. I block, it does not pump, I go to 20 and get a zombie token.
What's especially interesting here is that I would never make this block against a human opponent.
I tried giving the AI a bunch of other 2/2 flankers but it'll only chump attack with specifically Zhalfirin Commander. Maybe it still believes it'll pump it even though it won't.
This is really puzzling. I can't find any relevant difference with the way Icatian Lieutenant is coded, and that one works fine. Maybe the flanking somehow makes the AI believe it doesn't have to do anything else.

opponent attacked with a Noble Hierarch (0/1, no buffs) and Giltspire Avenger (so noble couldn't even take advantage of exalted). should've solely attacked with just hierarch or giltspire, not both.

I have a Kazandu Tuskcaller who has been enchanted with Skin Invasion. I can't play Tuskcaller's ability (level up) why ?

@fnartel: i tested Kazandu Tuskcaller + Skin Invasion,
both the levelup and the gained tap abilities does work.
maybe there is something else on the board that does prevent it?
also LevelUp only works with Sorcery Speed.
