Some cards are not there, but they are in cardart
by Vrurk » 02 Jan 2023, 10:42
Hello
I updated the manalink and saw that in the cardart there are some cards that do not appear in the deck creator, such as "of one mind" or "gingerbrute".
Why don't they show up? do i need to update something?
I play with the xMage for that reason but I prefer the Manalink, the problem is that not all the cards are always there.
Thanks

There are more card artwork files than coded cards. Either because when someone was working on the art, he wanted to complete some sets no matter if those cards have been coded or not or because the cards have already been coded for shandalar but not for Manalink.3 as they both share the same cardart file.
So it's normal. As long as you have the latest patch as mentioned in patches you are OK.
Also you can request for cards, at the top ten wishlist topic.

Thank you. So the last patch is October 2022?
Who is in charge of inserting the new cards? I guess you'll need minimal programming knowledge to create those cards.

Currently drool66 and me are coding for Manalink3.0. Request any cards you mostly want and we will try to code them and include them in next patch. Unless these cards are not from sets that we have already coded cards for, as then drool66 will code them when he will work on that set.Vrurk wrote:Who is in charge of inserting the new cards? Thank you. I will look for more cards that are not there. I thought that the letters were all inserted by new edition.

You don't have to do that, we know which cards are not coded, just request some cards you really want to play with. It is not possible for us to add all cards, it involves too much work and we are only two people. For sets after Amonkhet we code only those that get play in modern.Vrurk wrote:I will look for more cards that are not there.
By last set I meant that we currently have cards coded in release as far as Modern Horizons 2 set.
I just coded the two cards you asked for, still need testing.

Thx u dude. Is easy to make code cards? I don't know about programming, but if it's relatively simple, I'd like to learn. Sorry if there is a post for that, but I don't speak English, I'm using the translator.

It is not very difficult to code easy to medium difficulty new cards but the fact that you don't speak English and in the same time you don't know about programming, I believe it makes it extremely difficult.Vrurk wrote:Is easy to make code cards?
