How do you know about MA?
by Goblin Hero » 20 Jul 2010, 09:49
Looking at wish list thread there's a bunch of new MA users. How do you know about this program? It was never advertised except on this site.
When you´re a goblin, you don´t have to step forward to be a hero -- everyone else just has to step back.

If you keep searching for long enough you'll find what your looking for. I was looking for the best Magic archive there is. At long last i found it! Its not perfect yet but its the only one that i saw the potential for it.

Same as the above posters. Was looking for an magic inventory program. I like MA the best of the ones I've found. It does a lot of things right. But I wish it did deck stats like mws. (Oh and M11 pics )
But overall I love what your doing. Hopefully you'll find more time to add more features. (Deck stats please ) But for now thanks for the great program!!

I found it here on slightlymagic.net. MWS was getting old and unable to support the new cards, and I'm so thankful you made MA! Every release adds great new features! I'm so glad you added the deck/inventory filenames to the window bars.

I was looking for a better app than MWS to manage the inventory and ended up checking the updates on MA when it was still WIP. MWS is annoying and not free and most importantly it isn't getting updated anymore. I like to use programs that have good support. I don't use MWS to manage my inventory anymore and hopefully it's just a matter of time until MA will be a viable replacement to deck building.
I'm sure glad I saw this app right here on Slightly.

Like others before me, I was using magic workstation to attempt to keep an inventory (as well as pricing) of my collection. I was approached by a friend that had just opened a gaming store entertaining the thought of starting to sell CCG content. He asked that I manage his card inventory and I accepted. At the time we were using MWS and though it was a pain I was able to manage there collections with it. When I was looking for pictures for MWS one day I stumbled across the magic album application (didn't even know it was known as WIP before?). It worked out nicely ever since. Though the first few revisions of the app lacked some of the important features I mainly use today (such as exporting and pricing ) I saw potential. Its a great application, keep up the good work!

I first came to the site looking for HQ scans.
Then I started using MWSPA and eventually got the news about MA.
As an old MWS user, I find it a shame that a program with such great possibility stopped development.
So now I am hoping MA steps into the void that MWS created.
So far I'm glad it seems to advance very well in adding more and more user requested features.
Congratulations and keep up the good work.

I read about it at www.mtg-forum.de, one of the best german MTG sites. Someone mentioned it being a great program... and he was right.

I used this website for getting the master base for MWS whenever there was a new set released, then one day while exploring the site I stumbled upon MA.
