While you are waiting for the next beta release I thought you might get a kick out of this.

Below is a link to the oldest Forge archive that I have available on my hard drive. It is dated 10-15-2008. Try it out and compare it to the newest release.

EDIT:

My MediaFire account is no longer active and my files on this site has disappeared. You will find new links below for forge 10-15-2008 and for Card Warrior 2.

Oh, in case anyone is curious, the archive includes the source code as a .zip file.

Use the menu command to download the card pics and watch what happens in the forge root folder. [-X

It does take me back, oh the good old days. :D

If you try to download the card pictures it says, "Sorry, but you must be connected to the Internet". Very funny indeed, because I programmed it. Wizards changed the name of their card pictures so Forge presumes it cannot download the card picture because you are not connected.

Well, I guess that this bug is one which we will not try to fix, since it is sooo out of date. :lol:
