Randomly for me also includes also not giving at all or giving counters to a creature that did NOT enter the battlefield that turn!

With Kamigawa stories patch just installed, Oran Rief, the Vastwood still is not working as it should. In fact, it still randomly gives the +1/+1 counter to creatures.
First attempt with Elvish Archres played before attack phase: no counters.

Oran-Rief code was bugged, anyway it was already fixed.

There was a stupid bug in the code that mess your choices when the selection box is displayed. Now it's fixed.
