Dismal Failure has Statue of Denial's effects (fix completed in vcs)

 

I cast Dismal Failure on opponents spell and the game made me discard instead of the opponent.

It's even weirder, apparently countering something with Dismal Failure draws me a card for no apparent reason and then asks me to discard.
