The AI doesn't seem to be aware it can target lands with Goblin Tinkerer , so you can often see it use Liquimetal Coating on a creature and suicide Goblin Tinkerer to kill that creature, but never use the goblin to kill all enemy lands one by one. The AI will use almost any one-shot effect for that purpose (cip destroy target artifact like Uktabi Orangutan or Indrik Stomphowler , or just artifact destroying instants), but never this card. And that's the best possible use for that card.

Northern Paladin and Southern Paladin have the same problem with Distorting Lens - they're unable to target lands.
