This would be a really nice feature. :)

Ok, I've changed logic in r171. For all operations except "Open" last directory will be used (Windows remembers it automatically). For "Open" operations will be used directory from preferences or last used (if directory in preferences is empty). Test it. If it is ok - I'll close the ticket.

Here's what's happening for me:

If directory is not set in preferences, opening a deck or inventory will use the last used directory, regardless of what it was used for. For example, if I open a deck, then open an inventory, the Open Inventory window will be in whatever folder the last deck was opened from. I'm guessing this is the intended behaviour.

BUT: When a directory is set for inventory, if I hit the Open Inventory button, it will show My Computer instead of whatever is listed in the preferences. Open Deck works the same way if the preference is set.

I've tried deleting preferences file and letting the program recreate it, with the same result.

I've tried re-downloading MA to a new folder, with the same result.

Running Win7 64-bit.

Hope this helps.

I have my deck files in several different folders. If I click the open deck icon it always starts from the "Decks Folder" defined in the Preferences (C:\Program Files\Magic Album\Decks). All my decks are within several levels of subfolders within C:\Program Files\Magic Album\Decks. It's a little annoying to have to click down through all those subfolders everytime I open a new deck. It would be nice if it would remember the last folder I had opened. :)

tenminutegod: Please test MA 1.4.1 (which will be released soon) and report here afterwards.
