  • The Standard Series was different from the similarly-named Standard Showdown and seems like it was never repeated. There's a bit of info on the event available here:

Expansions/Phyrexia All Will Be One
  • Concept Praetor variants were added in ONE and available from ONE boosters, but have the set code and icon from the set the card originally appeared in, and CNs that are added on to the end of the existing set. Scryfall categorizes them to be part of the original sets, since at a glance, there is no way to tell they are from ONE. MA has precedent for this with the Rafiq of the Many Showcase version introduced in SNC boosters, which was added to the the ALA set, so it would make sense to follow suit for these

  • Tokens are using the Timeshifted (purple, WAR40K_T) icon instead of Common (black, WAR40K_C)

As with last time, if you know of some printing I'm not seeing or would just prefer to leave them in the DB, ignore these.

Special Sets/Kamigawa Neon Dynasty Commander
  • Double-Faced Substitute Card (all versions) - I don't think there were DFC sub cards specific to this set. There were none included in the decks and the decks have no DFCs.

Universes Bayond/Warhammer 40K Commander
  • I can't find any evidence of the Adaptive Automaton promo actually being available. No copies are listed on TCGPlayer, SCG, cardmarket or ebay. It's on Gatherer, but it seems like maybe it was a planned promo that never got printed or distributed.

Are these two actually the same token? Is this a duplicate?

Actually, looks like it is a dupe, and not the only one. If you filter for Tokens in the Arena/Colosseo Leagues Promos and League Tokens sets, everything but the Servo|Thopter is in both.

Arena League ended back in 2007, and was eventually replaced by Magic League. So League Tokens is probably the proper place for those, rather than Arena. The Comments field on the ones currently in the Arena set seem more informative, and the Soldier tokens there aren't missing their versions.

Additionally, the article says that from 2017-2019 the promos were non-token cards. They are currently in MA (also found in Arena/Colosseo Leagues Promos), so would it make more sense to rename League Tokens to something like Magic League Promos and put these there in there as well?


If you're wanting to add a comment for these, it looks like they were participation promos for playing in the league for their given set, rather than awards for the top 10 winners like the tokens were.
