Magic Album - Database Errors, Missed Cards and Pictures

Double rainbow cards missing (fix completed)

 

MA is missing many of the Double Rainbow cards, and the ones it does include have inconsistent versions
  • These should be added to MA with version="Double Rainbow" and foil=only
  • These are only available in ENG unless otherwise noted
  • Every Double Rainbow card printed so far has also been serialized, though how many are printed of each has varied
  • Whether collector numbers are distinct or shared with another card treatment varies by set and will be noted below
  • Note that Double Rainbow is a different foil finish than Rainbow, which is currently exclusive to Secret Lair Drops

  • For all but the Sol Rings: they have the same CNs as the Surge versions
  • Sol Rings: available in ELV only; they have the same CNs as the normal versions, and will need version numbers since there are 3 arts. Numbered this way so that the version numbers line up to the same arts in non-foil (there is no double rainbow of the ENG Sol Ring, which is version=1)

    • #410: version=Double Rainbow 4

  • Currently ACR cards aren't visible in MA, so I'm not sure of the status of these, but I thought I would include them here anyway
  • There are 4 double rainbow cards in the set; as with the others, they should be ver=Double Rainbow, foil=only.

I did not notice when compiling this list that for Universes Beyond/Lord of the Rings, there were also normal versions of the double rainbow cards as well. So, slight update: #731-#750 should have two entries each; one as it already was, and one a foil-only, ver="Double Rainbow". Mount Doom #343's version should remain as it was originally. Sorry about that.

Thank you for your detailed bug report.
Since all Double rainbow cards are serialized, i would prefer to name the version "serialized".
There are many different foil variants and they are hard to distinguish from each other. Wouldn't it be easier to find the right card in MA with a "serialized" version because you can identify a serialized card at first glance? What is your opinion?

Sure, Serialized is shorter and still descriptive, sounds good.
