Magic Album - Database Errors, Missed Cards and Pictures

Arcum's Sleigh (Ice Age) discrepancy in database (fix completed)

 

The database entry for Arcum's Sleigh features a discrepancy between the rules text shown on the scanned image (taken from the image torrent) and the Original Text in the database. The image shows "2, T: Attacking this turn does not cause target creature to tap. You cannot use this ability if defending player controls no snow-covered lands." The Original Text in the database reads "2, T: Until end of turn, target creature has vigilance as long as defending player controls a snow-covered land." There's only one version of the card in the database (not counting the German version), so I'm not sure where the discrepancy could have come from. Neither of these match up with the Oracle Text, so I know that's not the source of the discrepancy.

Err, the attached image apparently got resized down to about 3 pixels wide by one pixel high, so nevermind on that. It was just for a more clear-cut look, anyway.

Fixed. The source of the discrepancy is the Magic Workstation legacy database with only one field for cards' text. There are lots of entries in MA database with wrong "Original Text". See http://www.slightlymagic.net/forum/tracker.php?p=3&t=187

Ohh, so what's listed as "Original Text" here is probably actually an older version of what might be considered the "Oracle Text", which is why it was never actually printed on anything. Fair enough, and thanks for the info.

If I find something else like this, would you like me to post in the ticket you linked, or start a new ticket, or what?
