Magic Album - Database Errors, Missed Cards and Pictures

Extra insert found and offer to fill in some others (fix completed)

Hi,
I was going trough the inserts in the database and found an extra entry in Shards of Alara.
"Jund│The Best Way to See the Best Play" doesn't have a matching backside.
Actually, according to Abugames that backside does not exist.

We have several high quality scans of inserts that are not in MA (RTR, M13, AVR, DKA, P2, PT, etc..).
I can fill them in if you like, however in the sample database that I have, I couldn't find an entry of a generic insert.

I know, from a previous ticket that the Object code is 4 for inserts, but what should the CardID be?

It would be great if you help with the missing inserts. Attached is an example of Innistrad inserts database. Finding existing combinations of front/back is a problem...

This Thread may help. See the file posted by Mystical Tutor.

Note that the spreadsheet has multiple "tabs".

I am in the process of filling in the missing inserts.
However I noticed that many existing ones don't have the artist name for the back or both front and back. So I also started to complete those. Is this worth doing?

Right now I am copying all the info from those with missing info to a spreadsheet and then filling in the artist(s). However as I don't know the IDs of the cards you would have to later match them to what already exist.

Is it possible to get a copy of the entries for the existing inserts?
That way I could get the job finished much faster. If not then it's okay as well. You just going to have to wait a little longer for the info about all those missing inserts :)

Artist names are present only if it is printed on the card. If I've missed something it is certainly worth fixing. Attached is a complete inserts database.

I am almost done. Hopefully I can finish tomorrow.
Before I do I need some more information from you, Goblin Hero:

1 - What is the CopyrID for "™ & © 2012 Wizards of the Coast", i.e., the same as for the regular RTR cards. This is showing up in some DKA and AVR inserts.

2 - Some inserts actually have no copyright whatsoever. Should I keep the CopyrID field for those like the rest of the set?
Actually sometimes there is even some small variation within a set... Is this being too picky?

3 - Should I fill the ID field with a sequence of numbers (for the new cards) or can it stay empty?

1. 31
2. Keep them like the rest of the set.
3. No, leave it empty.

It's done!
In attach you can find a spreadsheet containing 3 tabs: new tips, corrections to existing tips and new tips that need more thought.
Notes:

1 - I based my information on the spreadsheets found on the Magic Librarities thread that skibulk pointed me too. I also used Abugames to double check some conflicting entries.

2 - The insert I mentioned in my first post actually does exist. Only the backside was wrong. As such I put a corrected version in the second tab of my spreadsheet.

3 - The insert "Minimum Size|Magic Weekend" from M12 (ID 114178) does not exist according to both my sources.

4 - None of the M12 inserts showed the set icon. It's been corrected.

5 - For some reason my keyboard does not have the ' (apostrophe) character that Goblin Hero uses in his database (probably due to different language settings). Wherever it was needed I copied it from an old entry. So, when importing my data into the actual database there could be some inconsistencies...

6 - My excel kept converting the collectors numbers to dates. To keep my sanity I converted that whole column to text. Again, I'm not sure if it can cause problems.

7 - The third tab contains inserts for Portal, Portal 2 and Introductory 2-Player. I had some scans so I decided to put them in. The naming convention that I found for them is kind of messy (I wasn't very inspired :)). You may want to rewrite those.
Also, there are a few entries that I'm not sure will work in the program(front|back combination with versions).

Lastly I would like to give a special thanks to skibulk for pointing me to the thread that made this work possible; to Mystical Tutor for compiling a truly awesome list; and to Goblin Hero for all the help given during this process and for creating this amazing program!

Cheers,
Ohforf

P.S. I found a mirror for the old inserts here.
