Shandalar - Program Bugs

Vesuvan Doppelganger w/ Persist disappears/reappears (will not fix)

This one seems a little less mundane.

AI had 2 Vesuvan Doppelgangers, each had copied a Heartmender. When the AI tapped out to cast a Mahamoti Djinn, I activated my Pernicious Deed for 8, destroying everything. That part worked fine. I had two legacy tokens for bringing back my Heartmenders, which I used. I also noticed that the AI seemed to not have any, nor did it have any Vesuvan Doppelgangers in its graveyard. Strange, but I kept going.

Later, the AI put out another Doppelganger, again copying my Heartmender. When my Heartmender died (combat vs Doppel Heartmender), a Doppelganger card went to my graveyard and another Doppelganger entered play under my control and asked me what to copy. I'm not sure what happened to my Heartmender. A turn later the game crashed.

I've so far had zero issues with Heartmender on its own. Works great. I haven't tried cloning it, but I'll try to and see what more I can learn.

Vesuvan Doppelganger for autocard.

MicroProse's Vesuvan Doppelganger implementation is an unholy mess, since the engine can't cleanly handle cards that copy other cards after entering the bf, nor ones that retain some of their own abilities. Even more so than any of the other not-yet-rewritten cards, I'm not accepting bugs for it.
