Shandalar - Program Bugs
Sensory Deprivation mistargeted (duplicate)
I know it's probably a wider issue than one card, but the AI sticking Sensory Deprivation on it's own creature is very likely never ever a good move. So much so it probably shouldn't be possible at all.

I read once that the AI, depending on difficulty level, will occasionally make a "misplay", or an obviously poor play for no reason. In base Shandalar this showed up a lot by the AI choosing to cast Stream of Life on you. Maybe it was an example of this?

That's an interesting observation since I haven't re-adjusted the thinking time allowed for the AI since the reinstall and last time around it seemed to reduce the ammount of plays such as these and it used to be set to something like 10X less than it was meant to be originally.
If it's unrelated to that, if the AI can cast Sensory Deprivation on it's own creature that makes puting that card in an AI deck hazardous. If Pinned to the Earth and such have the same problem, a bunch of blue removal doesn't work etc etc etc

The "AI deliberately misplays" line is likely marketing FUD for the original developers' inability to fix #531 either.
