Shandalar - Program Bugs
Deckbuilder "search in card" field too easily misinterpreted as "search for card title" (reviewed)
To reproduce:
1. Open deck.exe
2. Enable all card filters and verify that the land you want to search for (e.g. Gaea's Cradle, Tolarian Academy) shows up.
3. Type a keyword into the search bar that would find your card, e.g. Gaea
4. Note that the land is not found, but other cards matching the terms are e.g. Child of Gaea, Gaea's Avenger, Gaea's Liege

Yep I totally misinterpreted the function of the search bar. However, while we're on the topic, if there was a way to search by 1. Card Title and 2. Creature Types that would make deckbuilding go much faster.

There is no need for that.Me and stassy only have answered about that numerous times to people,it is in the Manalink wiki,it is also in the help text, probably in frequently asked questions in Manalink - you can type anywhere in the screen the first letters of the card except in the search and it will auto guide you to the card.

I understand about going directly to the card if you know it's there. But what if you're building an elf deck, don't know which elves are implemented in the game, and want a full list? If you just go to E for example you won't find things like Multani's Acolyte or Rofellos (neither of which will go if you search for Elf or Elves either).

At least for creature types you can right click on creatures and select from a list. However this is also broken in Shandalar as it seems to find only the exact type you selected but not all other cards that have 2 or more subtypes besides the selected one.
Note: In Manalink3.0 this works fine and you get all creatures with selected subtypes,in fact all cards with that subtybe not only creatures.(you have to deselect though all other types in deckbuilder to get the selection).

The separate bug should be posted as a separate bug. (And should almost always be, for anything except problems with a specific card. Problems with the deckbuilder in particular are difficult to deal with.)
