Shandalar - Feature Requests

Rewrite combat AI (new)

I made a ton (20+) of goblins, shortly after that the game seemingly entered into an infinite loop (icon of mouse arrow with turning circle, impossible to do anything) and stayed that way for at least 15 minutes (then I killed the process).
What is the "safe" maximum number of creatures to have on the board?

Reason: rename from "Game hangs when too many creatures in play?"

Much more after combat than before. The non-combat AI is much more robust than the combat AI. The former shouldn't run into problems unless you use up all 150 card slots available per player; the latter starts overwriting random data after I think 16 creatures on one side. Even if it didn't, it would run very slowly due to combinatorial explosion.

In any case, this isn't fixable until the combat AI is substantially rewritten. I'm going to rename this and move to feature requests, since that isn't going to happen anytime soon.
