you dont have to replace any decks btw you can just make new ones and make a unique UID for it and register it in DATA_PC/DATA_REQUIRED/CONFIG/
files _PREPPED_APPID_LINKING.txt and APPID_LINKING.txt
inside the data core.
that crash occurs if you remove any decks from the any data wad after the game has already saved that deck list on your save file.
so adding and modifying decks are fine but completely replacing or deleting decks will crash your game. at least thats what always happens to me.

if you already play some deck, use her UID further, if u need more cards, make "UNLOCK-BUSTER"

I wanted to say its really good stuff. The only issue I have is that phantasmal image tends to crash the game more often than not at random momements.

This is a really great mod with lots of great cards. The amount of work you surely put into this was well worth it. Finally there are iconic creatures such as Birds of Paradise or Llanowar Elves.
There are of course a few bad things too. For example the ai is having trouble with multicolor lands (it seems to think mana tokens will stay in the game as it's tapping lands at end of my turn for no reason) or not transforming man-lands into creatures. Sometimes ai is playing a second Tolarian Academy while one is already in play . It has to be hard or impossible to make it better.
Then there are those new decks. Some are perfectly balanced and fun to play with and against. Decks such as Vampires. Some are a bit over the top. While Tezzeret's new set of cards was made strong on purpose the other decks are sometimes even more mind-blowing. It's not due to some overpowered archetypes but rather due to overpowered cards. While having Path to Exile is a good thing (it was standard-legal) adding Swords to Plowshares is overdoing it as it makes them 8-strong. Wouldn't Condemn be a much better choice as it's a fine and balanced card (and was standard-legal)? Don't get me wrong - the more cards the better. I'm just not sure if adding it to those decks is such a great idea. Playing Natural Order in the elf deck is a bit problematic too. Having 3-rd turn Progenitus is better than having a 2-nd turn Akroma, Angel of Wrath and it doesn't take as much effort as placing it in a graveyard, Dark Ritual - ing and reanimating.
Again, i have to note i'm grateful for your work and that i'm having great time playing all those new cards and decks. I'm bitching only because it's still beta.

Even while running the program in Administrator mode, very often decks re-lock and can't be unlocked again. I don't know if this is because of the Skidrow cracks or the mod, but it gets frustrating.
Awesome mod though, keep up the good work
Have some card requests if anyone wants to tackle them: Helm of Awakening, Tendrils of Agony, Mana Vault, Mana Crypt, Regrowth, Lotus Petal, Thoughtcast, Skullclamp, Chromatic Sphere, Conjurer's Bauble, Mind's Desire, Windfall, Vampiric Tutor, Mystical Tutor, The rest of the Artifact lands, and pretty much the rest of the restricted t1 list. 
Awesome mod though, keep up the good work

I have reinstalled (x3) DOTP 2012, but when I run the patcher, in the specified dir, I keep on getting "Software not found", What am I doing wrong??

Found a bug. I was playing 2 HG: I had Liliana's Reanimator and AI with Replicator against Gideon's Quest and Kiora. My team was at 5 with Platinum Emperion on our side (AI's card, not mine) and I cast Reanimate to bring back Simic Sky Swallower from GY and we died. However, I don't lose any life when I play free for all or 1 on 1.

Crap. Didn't realize that Steam was updating Magic 2012, and my Mod was nuked, and will not let me re-install the mod. Damn you, Steam.

I cannot get it to work. The first time I tried it on my skidrow version I got Campaign - Archenemy - Revenge - Campaign - Archenemy - Revenge - Revenge - Archenemy - Campaign (9 tabs). I then tried reinstalling without the skidrow crack and got Campaign - Archenemy - Revenge - Revenge - Archenemy - Campaign (6 tabs). I can see the new decks in the editor but they are locked and without the new campaign I can't unlock them. I'm new with this game (and with modding it) so I am definately doing something wrong, but what can it be?

i am in the middle of attempting what i think is correct..but for some reason in that configs folder i have a "new folder" that contains a .bak file of both of those files.. ill let you know if copying the .bak file to the .txt files works... lets hope..(my problem is that i beat ultimate and i cant play cheesy goblins boros or illusions)Deus Leonis wrote:

edit: Also what did you use to edit that part...i unpacked and repacked the was and got the wad corrupted error..can you play with an unpacked wad in 2012??
edit2: after changing the name of data_core to data_corexxx back to data_core i now do not have replication strength of stone and boros....but i have illusions and cheesey goblins...kind of wierd...also for some reason i have 6 tabs for campaign essentially its a doubling of what it should be but the second set does not have a background.. im a computer geekish guy...and i understand the concepts of the programming i just dont understand what happened when all i essentially did was change the files name then back to what it was....i dont see how that would cause a problem
edit3: ok after doing some checking..i realize i had 2 data_core's essentially... and that caused my problem.. but it actually kind of helped it but as i said i lost replication...but if i only put in the original data_core then i have a lot less unlocked...would probably have to delete the save file and start all over... thats possible..but i would rather know how you fixed this problem... sorry for so many edits...i just wanted to let people know what i did already

Word of caution though to those who use the Replication deck, watch the Golem replication, too many and ur game will crash lol
