Collectible Card Game Headquarters

Hello everyone,

I decided to share my personals cards and decks in a custom DLC.

It contain about 130 new cards and 14 decks

Requirement : You need to install Kevlahnota's custom DLC => viewtopic.php?f=62&t=6057

Just put the Data_DLC_1234.wad in the directory of DOTP2012 and erase your profile.

With a new deck : Landfall Combo deck
And a new version of the Angels deck with Innistrad angels

The TDX images are much smaller with Eglin's tools. Thx to him.

Some other cards were also corrected.

These decks have unlocked cards. Just go in the deck manager, reset the deck and make your choice.

Don't forget that the deck manager only show 30 cards in unlocks and 60 cards in the main deck.

About Oblivion Stone and Keldon Marauder, their counters are invisible (I don't know how to make them visible).

P.S. : sorry for my bad english

I'm not sure what exactly I'm doing wrong, but I put the Data_DLC_1234.wad on my DoTP2012 installation folder, delete the folder which contains the save data, start the game and cant find any single new deck.

New file updated.
I'll try it and it works.
The game doesn't like data_dlc_1234.wad. I rename it by data_dlc_1111.wad.

I guess it could be because you just renamed the WAD file and/or the folder. If you want to change the name of your custom DLC, you have to do one more thing: go to \DATA_DLC_1234\DATA_PC and edit the 3 "APPINFOFILE" XML's that you find there, substituting 1111 with 1234.

I've done what thefiremind told and now it works perfectly. Many thanks for that!

But a strange problem happened when I've tried to install it in a different machine. First time, I followed the procedure in my desktop computer, and it goes well. Then I did the same in my notebook: no problem until this moment.

However, when I executed the game and oppened this custom decks in "Deck Manager" I notice that some cards are kind of glowing so brith that you can't see the borders and the text box of it, only the card's image. While playing with the decks it continues. It is not all cards that are having this issue, just some of them. All decks of this custom version are doing this, and I don't know why. Still, Kevlahkota's DOTP 2012 Custom DLC 1.0 and 1.2 are working normal.

Maybe it has something to do with the hardware, the video card... It's my only thought.

Does someone have a clue why this is happening? I would appreciate very much any help to solve it.

By the way, thanks, Persee, for sharing your content. I had a lot of fun aready.

I really don't know what to say... all cards use green frame here, so they should behave exactly the same when viewed. I looked into the code of Persee's Llanowar Elves (recognizable in the picture) and it seems all OK to me... I wouldn't have used spaces in XML file names, but I don't think this is the problem. Llanowar Elves are common, so it can't even be a strange reaction to the foiling process (commons can't be foiled in this game, no matter what). If anybody finds the reason, please tell me, I'm curious.

Does your notebook works under XP ? I have the same issue under another pc under XP, DirectX 9 and a on-board video card.

No, it's working under Windows 7.

Just curious, are the GPU's AMD/ATI or nVidia?

Or a intel ?

I know that Intel GMA has no comparison with ATI or Nvidia on the matter of quality. Still, what confuses me is that any other decks of all customs in both DOTP are working just fine. I mean, this type of problem never happened before in the machine I'm mentioning.

However, as thefiremind alluded the idea of an sort of foiling process failure, I simply pressed the foil button in this custom decks (although I prefer to play without it). Then, most of the cards stopped glowing, and I think it is because most of then are uncommom and rare (so it can become foiled). Commom cards that cannot be foiled in the game still glowing (like Llanowar Elves and Seal of Strength, as my image example shows).

So I think this represents some progress in understanding the problem. If someone has another idea, let's discuss about it.

One bug, the upkeep popup for Aether Vial reads "[CARD_QUERY_AETHER_VIAL]" instead of text.
