That means nothing because Kargan Dragonlord appeared as loading screen in DotP2012. This time it's even worse because the frame is chosen automatically by the game by looking at the card colors and type, and there's no way to override the choice.

Shielding Plax is not preventing targetting from the opponent spells.

I actually tried to implement Planeswalkers in 2013 but they have the same problem like in 2012. They don't show up ingame. In the deck-manager you can see them (without the proper frame, just a basic one) but they don't appear when you draw them (ex.: hand-count at the side is 5 but you only see 4 cards in your hand). There are a few functions and filters that indicate, that stainless worked on them but they aren't complete enough for us to finish them i think. But maybe they will come in the later dlcs, i wont give up the hope :)

With the mod the game doesn't save the progress. Everytime I open it, it's like it's the first time I've ever played it...

PS: How do I unlock the 10 locked cards in each modded deck? :D

Haha, sorry... that's what happens when I copy the XML from other cards and forget about some substitutions... :oops:

Thanks for the explanation about unlocking. I thought I could see some changes immediately (like seeing the right number of locked cards), without clicking on Premium foil and rebooting the game. With your procedure it works indeed. =D>

Sorry for re-posting, but the game doesn't save progress and everytime I open it it's like it's the first time. Does anyone have a similiar problem (or a solution)?

Edit: I solved it deleting the files in "C:\Users\[your_username]\AppData\Local\SKIDROW\97330", if anyone has this problem too (and he's using the SKIDROW version of the game)...

I'm glad you solved the problem this way, anyway I'll follow Ctar's advice starting from the next release and the problem should be gone forever (I'm not sure because I'm using Theta version, but I hope so).

  • Open this topic: viewtopic.php?f=62&t=7341
  • Click on the second link on the page (the one with "builds")
  • Download the zip file you find there (duels-r6_b5.zip, the name will change when Rick releases a new version) and extract it wherever you want
  • Drag and drop the WAD file of the deck you want to modify (my decks all end with "ST" like the original ones) on Gibbed.Duels.Unpack.exe
  • You'll end up with a directory with the same name of the WAD file, open its sub-directories until you are in DATA_ALL_PLATFORMS
  • There are 2 important sub-directories inside DATA_ALL_PLATFORMS: DECKS and UNLOCKS. The first contains the list of the starting cards of the deck (don't touch the file that has "LAND_POOL" in the name, you need to modify only the other one), while the second contains the list of the unlockable cards. Both lists are in XML format.
  • Open the XML that you want to edit with Notepad or any editor you like. You'll recognize the list of cards and understand easily how it is written. You can change card names with other card names, but you have to write their name exactly (they are usually named with underscores instead of spaces and with a number at the end).
  • Once you are done editing, exit from all the sub-directories, drag the directory you obtained when unpacking (the first one with the same name of the WAD file) and drop it on Gibbed.Duels.Pack.exe. This will repack the directory into a WAD file. You'll end up with a file a little bigger than my version, that's because you can't enable compression with drag&drop, but don't care about it.
  • Move the WAD file in your DotP2013 directory.
  • If you are using the Skidrow version of the game, the changes could stay unnoticed by the game, in this case you'll have to delete your profile again as you did before.
  • Start the game and see if everything went well. :wink:
If you need a list of all the cards in my DLC, follow the same instructions, but unpack Deck_1999_Core, and browse inside the sub-directories until you are in the CARDS sub-directory. Inside it, each file represents a card. Just use the file names as card names for the decks.

If you need a list of all the original cards of the game, download it from here:

(it's faster than unpacking all the WAD files)

If you don't want to go through all this, you'll have to wait until a Deck Editor will be made for DotP2013.

Is there a faster way to unlock the locked cards without playing 30 or some matches?? :D

hello,

great job again Firemind.

The only bug i found is the ninjutsu capacity that doesn't work. When one of my creature is not blocked, i can't activate the capacity (of course, i have sufficient mana to activate it) of one of my creatures in hands who has this capacity.
