In order to release that patch, I should have it first... and I don't have it.

Sure, if I had Steam...daenon611 wrote:This is the Night of the nights. A Patch? is there. Just start Steam and let it do, what to do is.

Anyway, I found the changelog:
and I don't think there could be incompatibilities with this WAD... at most, you would patch Yeva and Firewing Phoenix which are patched already. This version includes performance tuning that should improve app stability, graphics display, audio playback, framerate, and multiplayer connectivity for many players. Miscellaneous AI, game play, and user interface improvements have also been made.
It also includes changes to the way some things work:
- Yeva, Nature's Herald now has 4 toughness.
- Firewing Phoenix now has 2 toughness.
- When the AI has many creatures it is no longer able to avoid blocking Taunting Elf.
- Enchanting a creature with Mind Control correctly applies “summoning sickness.”
- The “Say Your Praetors” Challenge now correctly records which of the five possible solutions have been used.
EDIT: I made a second update after checking the exact rulings about choices: the 2 cards to discard for Avatar of Discord aren't targets, so the choice whether to discard them or not should be made on resolution.

Hey, i've noticed a cool bug today when playing Liliana at Revenge (Planeswalker difficulty).
She was casting spells, creatures as usual, but since i started to keep 3 manas to use an counterspell, she stopped to cast stuff at all.
I guess that the AI is "guessing" my counterspell and previning it from casting cards.
By the endgame she had like 14 Swamps and not even a single cast, spell, creature, enchantment, in 6 rounds.
Poor girl. XD

I already suspected the AI knows what we have in our hand...
Yesterday, playing the Madness deck against Talrand. I had Wild Mongrel in play, a lot of cards in hand, one of them was Wonder. The AI had a Skywinder Drake, able to attack but didn't, since i could discard Wonder and another card and kill it.
Also, when i attack with a Goblin Guide the AI gets a land at least 2/3 of the time (unusual since the deck usually has only 1/3 of them) but i get attacked by one i only get 1/3 (and it seems less). And to make it more ridiculous, in Dotp 2012, once the AI didn't attacked me with it, and guess what, my next card was a land...

Phantasmal Image isn't in the core, so this is not the place to report about it. Find in which mod it is (I think it's the community mod since it's a card from DotP2012) and write there.Almeida wrote:hey mans ... phantasmal image doesn't trigger when come into play

On the AI knowing your cards, I haven't really seen convincing proof of that in my games so far. I often wandered whether the AI would consider what cards exist in the opponent's overall deck and include that in the calculations somehow, rather than just read their cards. They still walk into the "attack then cast Giant Growth to kill the blocker" all the time!
I do know that the AI priorities got worked on in 2013, it particularly shows in FFA. In 2012 the emphasis was on causing damage to anyone who couldn't defend it (they would dogpile someone who hadn't placed a creature yet). In 2013 the emphasis is on attacking the person with a large (perceived) threat in play. If you play a permanent with an AI_BASE_SCORE early on and noone else has creatures yet, opponents tend to target you with their burn and discard spells, etc. Yesterday I won an FFA with Crosswinds where after about 6 turns I had one island and two Kraken Hatchlings. The opponents (Krenko, Olivia and Garruk in my deck in development) had like 6 creatures each and were fighting furiously and ignoring me. I recovered up to 4 mana and got my Talrand's Invocations out just as one opponent remained and I managed to clinch it from nowhere.
Right: my preamble is over, now a suggestion. Thefiremind would you consider adding auto skip tags to the Exalted cards as a comfort improvement? It's a bit ridiculous that you have to watch like 7 full animations every turn and there's no advantage to monitoring them all...
