Question about 2013 mod

I'm planning to play DOTP2013 modded and I have a couple of questions:

1. Do we need to extract the files from the modded .wad files or can we drop the .wad files in directly to the folder like we do with DOTP2014?

2. There's a core fixes thread with a file labeled Deck_1000_CoreFixes.wad is this different than the Deck_1999_Core_v9.zip stuff?

3. There's not deckbuilder per se for 2013 correct? We just use the in-game builder or ?

Yes, you can use modded wads like you do in DotP 2014 (and just like DotP 2014 you have to have the wad check disabler, which is the same dll we use for 2014).

I believe they are different, though since the wads in question were made by thefiremind, he would be more qualified to answer.

Yes, there is a Deck Builder (technically there are several, but once I released mine most of the others fell out of use). It doesn't have all the features that the Deck Builder for 2014 has (since I transitioned over and stopped updating 2013), but it is still works.

The core fixes WAD contains fixes for the official cards and it's independent from anything else (of course I suggest to use it so that you have all the official cards working properly).
