Thank you for refresh DOTP "2010" decks for this new 2013 version. It would be cool if someone made the same with 2012.
Thanks for that catch, apparently I forgot to add filter:AddCardType( CARD_TYPE_CREATURE ) to the target definition. This will be fixed in v0.2 when I upload it.

I was not working on the DotP 2012 decks for two reasons: 1. I was pretty sure that someone else was already working on them (kevlahnota) and 2. I haven't finished converting all the cards from DotP 2010 yet (there are still some used in challenges, but not in the player decks that have to be converted).

I'm not sure where you get a ".man" file from because the download from my website is a ".7z" (7-Zip) file and once unzipped it has 18 ".wad" files ("Data_DLC_8192.wad" and 17 individual deck wads). The extension on the download from my website can be easily confirmed simply by looking at the link (it has .7z at the end of the link).

Edit 2012-07-12: v0.2 has now been released and I have updated the first post.

Kevlahnota is already working on converting the DotP 2012 cards and decks to 2013 so I would rather concentrate my efforts elsewhere (duplicated work really doesn't help anyone). Besides I'm actually not done with conversions from DotP 2010 yet, I still have to finish testing my conversion of "Edge of Madness" (was a non-playable deck in 2010 and was the final deck you play against in official expansion 3). I also want to convert over the cards that were used in challenges (because I'm a completionist) and I have a couple of other ideas I would like to try out.

If Kevlahnota asks for help in converting then I have no problem in assisting, but last I heard it sounded like he had everything under control.

Not a problem, in some respects I actually enjoy modding and coding more than playing.

Apparently not, in fact for most games I tend to enjoy modding more than playing. Maybe it has to do with our profession?

I can't talk about profession yet... but study course, yes (I'm specializing in IT engineering, or however it should be called in English, translating education titles is always a problem).

Ah, I was looking over to the title beneath your name and took it from there. I finished up my degree (Information Technology with a concentration in Systems and Security) some time ago and have been working as a software developer since 2000 (before that I was a computer tech). Anyways I've enjoyed programming (in several computer languages) for quite a long time now.

Hi,

After I installed the zip file and extracted in the directory magic 2013, in an attempt to start the game, the crash after the visualization of the first screen of the game (and back on windows with error message). Is there anything to add (or perhaps to remove)?

You can't leave the 7z file in the DotP 2013 directory because the game will try to use that file as a wad (even though it isn't a wad in and of itself) and when it tries that the game will crash. So if you've already extracted the 7z file then you can either delete the 7z file or move it to another directory. The game apparently tries to read any file that starts with "Data", "Deck", or other such key words as wads.

Now updated to v1.0 which adds a new deck (Edge of Madness) which was unplayable in DotP 2010 and many of the challenge only cards like Patriarch's Bidding, Open the Vaults, and Selective Memory to name a few.

Using Edge of Madness I've noticed that, when landing in the graveyard, neither Kozilek nor Ulamog shuffles the graveyard back into my library.
