Creating Cards and adding them to a deck Help

After you create a card, and save it as an xml what are the steps?
So far I've made a card with flavour and localisation and abilities (but some of the cards I would ignore abilities altogether.
1. I create it in notepad, tack a .xml on it and
2. then drop it in the CARDS folder of the deck I want.
3. Then I modify the DECK's xml (not the land one) to include that card in the card order.
4. After I repack it and try to look inside for this artless card.
Nothing shows up in the game's deckmanager.
Am I missing a step, I've tried with cards that are not listed in WAD edit, and I've tried just copying the very basic of cards with no abilities.
*Sorry for fragmenting my problems, I just didn't want to hijack the thread.
Well at least someone who reads this topic will see the basics on how to make a card.
<EDIT> <SOLVED> problem was that I was misspelling much of the words in the xmls.

Maybe you did something wrong in the card. Try to open the card with Firefox (I don't know if the other browsers can make the same report, but you can try if you don't have Firefox): if it reports an error, then it means that you made some mistake in the XML structure, like starting a block with <ACTIVATED_ABILITY> but ending with </TRIGGERED_ABILITY>, or forgetting to end a block, it can happen when you copy-paste.
EDIT: I found the problem on your XML file. I'm answering in the other topic which is more focused on the problem:

(Why do people like to "fragment" their problems on multiple topics?
