UPDATE (4/4/2013) -> If you are experiencing problems - e.g. missing pictures, misfiring effects, etc. - then download the new "Mad Dog" and "Nayan Invasion" decks posted below (the file should be dated Apr 4).

Hello everyone,

I have been lurking in the forums and immensely enjoying some of the decks I created thanks to its posters (esp. thefiremind, sumomole, RiiakShiNal, and kevlahnota).

With their help I created some decks to share below (all are 60 cards).

I tested decks against other mods' and revenge decks to meet following criteria:

Skill intensive

Couple are very skill intensive, but only from perspective of Standard and Dotp - probably above average for modern and average for legacy

Powerful

equivalent to Modern Tier 1.5 to 2 -- I mostly play Modern IRL

Fun, interesting, and hopefully somewhat original

But: few decks are derivative

NO

All cards are legacy legal

Play online with friends or play against other modded decks -- Playing against Liliana, Krenko, or Odric Revenge decks are pretty fun as well (though you will usually win with decent play).

Any criticisms, encouragements, and any other input very welcome! (As long as civil...)

Description - Wb Aggro humans deck including Geist of Saint Traft's Angel token + Silverblade Paladin as an alternative win-con. Skill comes in with the Mother of Runes. Only 20 lands and 4 non-creature spells.

With the Mad Dog deck, Hinterland Harbor seems to missing its illustration. Otherwise these seem like pretty fun decks.

Ran into some other issues. Precinct Captain from the Haunted Men deck doesn't create tokens when he hits a player. It goes through the effect but nothing is made. Also, I am running into a lot of cards that don't have text for their abilities. Most of them say CARD_QUERY_stuff here, just some ones I've run into: Mother of Runes, all of the dual lands have CARD_QUERY_OPTION_MANA instead of the actual color name.

Thanks for the reports.

~~I'm not sure what could be causing the problems with Precinct Captain. Perhaps you have another mod with broken code?~~ I will try to fix it on my end if I can.
**Edit: I found the problem -> will be fixed in next release tonight

For the lack of localizations: that was an oversight on my part. I'll fix it ASAP.

Another report: Blackcleave Cliffs and Dragonskull Summit are missing their illustrations from the Goblin Sacs deck, which is also missing from your main post. Also from that deck, Warren Weirding doesn't make the tokens if you sac a goblin. Mudbutton Torchrunner seems that it has to block? I don't see that rules text on the card anywhere. Keep up the good work

Oops, that deck wasn't supposed to be released yet...

But, if anyone's enjoying that deck I will be upload the fixes for that as well.

Hmm I'm not sure what it is, but I still get the CARD_QUERY_OPTION_MANA prompt instead of the text, although I see that you added that phrase to the text permanent, so I'm not sure what else could be wrong. I'm only running your mod, so I don't believe it can be another mod overwriting it. Oh and I think I ran into an issue with Burning Tree Emmissary, had an untapped Sacred Foundry, Noble Hierarch, played the Emmissary using some of my other lands, but was unable to play a Boros Reckoner in my hand even though I should have had the red from the Emmissary, a white from the Hierarch, and a red from the Foundry.

I will look into the problems tonight -> for the shaman I might have forgotten to include mana tokens.

Edit: Also, is it just that one line that's showing without localization or are all of them still having problems?

Just fixes Burning Tree Emissary not providing mana (if you had some other mods then it would have worked anyhow).

Just download "Mad Dog" deck again.
