Sower of Temptation can take control of 2 creature

If you cast a Sower of Temptation, put its ability on the stack, then Momentary Blink it, you can target a second creature with its ability and gain control of both creatures.
You should only get the second creature.
The first ability should never gain control of its target, because its duration is "as long as Sower of Temptation remains on the battlefield." Since the object that created that ability is no longer on the battlefield when it resolves, that effect should never happen. When the Sower is Blinked, it becomes a new object.
A long time ago, targeted effects got fixed so a Whitemane Lion being bounced and cast again would be recognized as a new object and an illegal target, but it seems like a lot of the bugs I'm reporting are based on the game's inability to tell that certain things are new objects.
