I am using the latest dev release now.

when this attacks the opponent tends to "block" it with something. Then it says something like illegal blocker removed and everything works fine.

The only problem with this is it will actually waste a blocker blocking the berserker.

They are not really blockers at the moment. They are only potential blockers in declare blockers phase.
No error in game mechanism. making the AI smarter is another thing.
