If it's not in either of our trash cans, then Google Drive never had it, which makes your guess likely. I also checked the CW's history, and it has never had Selective Memory, so it wasn't included and subsequently deleted, either.

I am finished coding for today.
All cards referenced are from the missing cards list.
Coded, tested, and uploaded:
Land Cap
Lava Tubes
Rites of Refusal
Rites of Spring
River Delta
River's Grasp
Roar of the Crowd
Robber Fly
Roc Hatchling
Rogue Skycaptain
Roots of Life
Rout
Royal Decree
Ruin Ghost
Run Wild
Runed Arch
Rushwood Grove
Rushwood Legate
Rustic Clachan
Scarscale Ritual
Scorched Earth
Scythe of the Wretched
Soul Exchange
Spirit Flare
Timberline Ridge
Veldt
Problem Cards:
Rohgahh of Kher Keep http://pastebin.com/pQ9FJ1sJ Everything about it works perfectly except granting the Kobolds +2/+2. If have tried adding a duration and various other things and no luck. The Kobolds of Kher Keep card itself is kind of weird in that it's picture stretches across the entire card.
Rust Elemental http://pastebin.com/vKTvcqRC It does not prompt to select an artifact to sacrifice.
Scarab of the Unseen http://pastebin.com/iBAcuhwS Does not remove the attached and return them to owners' hand.
Notes:
-- I updated the CW_CARD_QUERY file and uploaded it.
-- I updated the Impossible Cards List.
-- Firestorm (coded by ShoGun) is not discarding the cards that are selected. I tried to fix it, but didn't have any success so someone else might want to take a crack at it.
Next:
Back tomorrow working my way up through the list. Will be working on cards that start with R and then probably moving on to O and N cards. Migookman, please advise if you have moved beyond P and Q and I'll pick different letters.

For the CARD_QUERY file, I'm going to make a request. It was my own lack of forsight, not anyone's fault but mine.
Each modder should upload their own copy of it until I get the time (I don't when that will be because I don't know how difficult it will be) to properly add new entries to a pre-existing text permanent file.
CW_CARD_QUERY.XML like normal, erase everything, and save it as a new file with the name CW_CARD_QUERY_SPLINTERVERSE.XML. Make sure it's still in 2003 format.
I added about 15 lines to the file with manually translated (using Google Translate, so not exactly "manual", but much less automated than I'm used to...) entries for all languages, which have been overwritten. For now, uploading to a separate file would solve that overwriting issue. (If you're tempted to say sorry, don't. It really was my own fault.)
By the way, those entries were for the new lands I've been using. I've been slowly but surely switching lands over to using my own method, which is a combination of auto-tap and manual-mana. It seems to work really well. I've added them to a new wad file for testing if anyone would like to take a look. The wad isn't packed, and it probably won't be. In case you're unsure how to use directory wads, download the folder containing[/i] "HEADER.XML". ([b]Not "@header.xml".) Put that folder into your game folder and it'll be read just like any other wad.
The lands are designed to provide most any option you might need. You can set a land to auto-tap for a certain color or for none. You can also manually tap it for mana of any color it produces. When the AI controls it, these options are unusable, but there will be a way in the future to allow the AI to use the manual mana options.
Also, if it's controlled by the AI, then at the beginning of each main phase or upon the resolution of a spell or ability, if the land is untapped, it will be assigned a random color it can produce.
To-do:

Also, if it's controlled by the AI, then at the beginning of each main phase or upon the resolution of a spell or ability, if the land is untapped, it will be assigned a random color it can produce.
To-do:
- Allow AI to use manual mana.
- Allow granted abilities to be altered by other cards. For instance, if a card is granted the ability to tap for any mana, it should only have to mark the card as able to simply produce
. The card itself should check its current production abilities and display options and grant abilities based on that. This avoids having multiple auto-tap abilities on the same card (breaking them), and also having more than one copy of manual tap abilities (slowing down the AI and looking really bad).
- Create a working example card with 4 and 5 colors of mana produced. (Separate from below because it requires more than 7 multiple choice options, which means 2 cycling multiple choice questions.)
- Create a working example card for each color combination.
- Create text permanent entries for the options.
- Test

- Test
- Distribute to other lands.

The filter is mislabeled as an RTA.Splinterverse wrote:Problem Cards:

It's technically a colorless card as far as the game can tell, which puts it in the same category as eldrazi. It'll need its art specially dealt with. Thanks.
Lines 56 and 62 say <RESOLUTION_ACTION> instead of <RESOLUTION_TIME_ACTION>.Splinterverse wrote:Rust Elemental http://pastebin.com/vKTvcqRC It does not prompt to select an artifact to sacrifice.
Line 51: this RTA is trying to cycle through filter 1, but the filter the auras are in is 2. If that doesn't fix it, you might need to add 'reevaluates="1"' to the filter start tag so it updates after the target is chosen. Probably not, though. Only do that if the first doesn't fix it.Splinterverse wrote:Scarab of the Unseen http://pastebin.com/iBAcuhwS Does not remove the attached and return them to owners' hand.

I'm glad you suggested making our own files. I was definitely worried about overwriting someone's work. I had been checking the .wad to make sure I had the latest file, but that would never prevent two people working in the latest, so thanks for suggesting this.Xander9009 wrote:CW_CARD_QUERY.XML like normal, erase everything, and save it as a new file with the name CW_CARD_QUERY_SPLINTERVERSE.XML. So glad to hear about the lands. I am looking forward to the day when the AI knows what to do with these lands. As you know, I play a ton of 2HG with random decks and it's disappointing to win because the AI is playing a deck with lands that are hard for it to work with. Of course, I could switch out the decks, but then I can't really random the decks unless I keep myself from playing them too. Too bad we can't random the AI decks from one pool of decks and our own from another.

If you'd like to see them in action and suggest any changes you'd like to see, here's a link (I meant to put this in the post earlier but I forgot): https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... sp=sharing
The folder inside the one I linked to is the one you need. I'm not packing it because I don't want inexperienced users grabbing it and expecting it to work forever. It'll be removed later.
Note the lands included. They're override the ones with the same FILENAME in the CW, so you just need to make sure you're playing with or against something using one of those lands already. They're not named anything special. In the CW, there are 3 with _AM_ in the filename, as opposed to _MM_, but they'll eventually end up being the default/only lands available, so that's unnecessary.

Yes. Like most languages, Lua accepts variable names containing letters, numbers, and underscores, so long as it doesn't begin with a number.Splinterverse wrote:Can we use digits in variable names?

Xander. I just updated the Impossible Cards list. I noticed that the spreadsheet has 301 and I've got 351 now (which doesn't include split cards), so I'm not sure where the differences are. Maybe some of these have been coded already as approximations and they are in the .wad so they aren't listed as missing or impossible.
At any rate, I made a () version of the impossible list and attached it as a text file in case it helps.
Also, it seems that the spreadsheet is behind by a day or two. Or maybe I'm doing something wrong when I try to view it -- maybe I need to refresh somehow?

That's exactly the reason. The impossible cards list I have lists all of the same ones, but being coded overrides being impossible. Even if it's considered impossible, if it's coded, then it's marked as coded.
The spreadsheet might be a bit behind. It's set up with three moving parts.
1: The CW Updater runs at some point between 11 PM and 12 AM.
2: When the above finishes, it runs the tracking program on my computer, which manages completion status for every set.
3: Between 12 AM and 1 AM, the google spreadsheet's script runs, parsing whatever files are currently uploaded.
If the time zone of the script is off, then it might be running online and processing the results just before my local program runs to produce the most current results, resulting in the spreadsheet being a day behind. I'm not yet sure how to check/set the script's time zone, but it's apparently possible, so I'll look into that later. But I'll be leaving in a just a short while and I'll be gone until nearly midnight, so it probably won't be today.
