Question about the DotP 2014 Scavenging Ooze promo card.

I no longer play the physical card game, so if I haven't used the promo code yet for Scavenging Ooze, I was just wondering if only I could use the code I received from buying DotP 2014 from Steam, or could I give the code to someone else who could use the card?

I would imagine you could give the code away as I was not asked my name when I went and picked mine up. I just had to hand over the printed coupon with the code.
