Could split cards (e.g. Assault//Battery) be coded this way also?
Not really. Part of the problem with split cards is that they have two completely separate sets of characteristics. Only the one chosen for casting exists on the stack. So, for instance, nearly all of the split cards' two faces are different colors. So something that targets a red spell or something that triggers on a red spell being cast would have trouble with Assault//Battery when Battery is chosen. They also often, but not always, have different converted mana costs.

The idea that comes to mind to make split cards workable is actually NeoAnderson's morph code. It alters the card as it's put onto the stack so it has certain characteristics. If each split card has three components (four for cards with fuse), it might be enough to make it work. When it's cast, change its characteristics to match the resulting characteristics of the chosen half or halves.

The biggest hurdles, and ones which I can't think of any way to overcome, are 1) the fact that asking for a split card's CMC while it's in your hand, graveyard, or library (i.e. anywhere except the stack) get's two separate answers, and 2) it only gets one answer for comparisons (like "is this card blue" or "is this card's CMC less than or equal to 3"), but that answer isn't possible using the currently used code on cards. They get extremely tricky.

If you look at the rules here, you'll see that there are a few prominent ones that just aren't possible to approximate without rewriting every card that might target them to use custom functions (which I'd be all for if it wasn't such an excessive amount of work). It'd also mean things like protection could be properly accounted for, and planeswalkers' issues with being targeted like enchantments could be addressed properly.

The only way to do split cards and not have them making bad interactions all over the place would be to replace all instances of certain functions with custom ones that account for split cards. GetCardName(), GetColour(), GetSubType(), GetSuperType(), GetCardType(), GetCurrentCharacteristics(), and Test(). Also, the filters: FE_CHARACTERISTIC, FE_TYPE, FE_SUBTYPE, FE_SUPERTYPE, FE_COLOUR, FE_CMC, FE_NUM_COLOURS, FE_NUM_TARGETS, and FE_CARD_NAME. Anything that uses those (and maybe a few I skipped) would need to call custom functions. Those custom functions, if made to work identically as their counterparts except when relevant, it would be relatively simple.

For some reason Ashes of the Fallen isn't working. Not sure what is wrong with the code. This is one that I'm trying to code.

For some reason Ashes of the Fallen isn't working. Not sure what is wrong with the code. This is one that I'm trying to code.
Your secoond ability's zone is set to active_zone="ZONE_GRAVEYARD". That means the ability will only be active when Ashes of the Fallen is in the graveyard. Remove that attribute and try again.

when i choosed Forest or Plains card from my hand

-> all feild clearing and go to the graveyard
Fortified Village has no code at all related to possibly clearing the board. That one will require a bit of in-depth testing.

For Breaking Wave, tapped creatures are untapping but untapped creatures aren't tapping. Can anyone see where the code could be wrong for that?
It's because the spell abilities fire one after the other. The first one fires, and all untapped creatures are tapped. Now that they're all tapped, the second one fires, and all tapped creatures are untapped. However, the game won't animate stuff between spell abilities on the same card, so you only see the animation for the untapping.

To make it work, you'll need to put everything into a single spell ability, and preferably into the same RTA.
