Modding deck issue related to new content pack id

Postby Zhov » 06 Aug 2013, 08:30

Hi every one,
I'm a noob moder an I ve encountered my first issue related to that.

I've created my first deck (which is working properly :P ) by myself using the same content pack id as normal deck ( =0 ).

After that, I ve discovered some amazing tools like Deck Editor [-o< . This tools creates a new content pack id like it's recommended in the best practices.
(http://www.slightlymagic.net/wiki/DotP_2014:_Best_Practices)

In order to do that, it creates a file .WAD which make me bug when I tried to create a multiplayer game. :cry:
Indeed, the XML code paste below create the issue.

<CONTENTPACK UID="600001">
<PD_SECTION>
<APP_ID ID="213850" />
</PD_SECTION>
<CONTENTFLAGS>
<AVATAR_CONTENT />
<DECK_CONTENT />
<GLOSSARY_CONTENT />
<UNLOCK_CONTENT />
</CONTENTFLAGS>
</CONTENTPACK>

I'm wondering if this issue came from a mistake which I've done or if I have forgot to do something.
I have put the dll, but is there anything else to do ? #-o

Thx a lot,

I've just met this community but I love you and your work !

From what kevlahnota reported, the bug comes when you use a content pack ID which is too high. Use no more than 4 digits, 3 if you want to be super-safe.
