Way to check card names on the battlefield.

Postby kiranearitachi » 02 Jul 2014, 03:33

I am new and wanted to try my hand at making the tron lands. Is there a way to check the name of other cards on the battlefield to do this?

NeoAnderson has a set with all the tron land arts. You can find that here:

Also, I wouldn't look at my lands for examples on coding. I tried something odd with mana abilities and it isn't the best way to do things.

If you want a bunch of example cards I would download Xander's compilation of 2014 cards. I highly recommend it.

Which file are you referring to? I'd imagine all three are in my DLC since I can't remember anyone commenting a deck wasn't working. I'm almost positive Neo's has all three Urza's because I stole his art to use in my wad (thanks Neo :) ). If you are referring to Xander's community WAD then it is possible all three aren't in there. It's a big project to try and compile a community WAD and it's possible that some DLC were missed, some weren't included for compatibility reasons or a multitude of other reasons. The community WAD should be a good place to start though.

I'm still moving so I can't double check any of these but if you are having problems I'd suggest to try and redownload the DLC and see if you are still having issues.

no it was yours. it seems odd maybe its in there but the deck builder just isnt loading it. Not a big problem i just wanted to make a deck and look at their coding to code some other lands. Is there a page of cards not coded that I could go to and pick some that i think i can do?

The Formal Request Thread has the cards that others want coded for them. Some of them are already done, but most of them aren't. Skip to the last page and work backwards. Find a card someone requested but no one has done yet, and see if you think you can do it.

Cool. I didn't know anyone was using it at all. It'll be expanding soon, too.

Odd, I did a search on my local files and he has all 3 lands.
