Hey guys, is there a trick to show the Planeswalkers art correctly, both in your hand and in play? Sometimes the art is squeezed (in your hand) or stretched out (in the battlefield.)

Oh, BTW, for the people wondering about the art of the transformed Origins planeswalkers, the trick is to make the ArtID just numbers. For example, Nissa, Vastwood Seer would transform into Nissa, Sage Animist and keep the same art but if you remove the letter characters from the ArtID, it looks fine!

Just so everyone knows, Favor of the Gods has been updated. Some of the abilities have been reworked, and some have been fixed.

Searching target player's library for permanents to put directly into play will now also cast non-permanents for free (their owner casts them, not you).

Target player draws, discards, gains life, loses life, takes damage, or takes an extra turn: these have all been reworked so it asks for the numerical choice /after/ asking for what you want to do. This way, discard works like it should without having to choose "1", then discard, then the number you want to discard. It also fixes the extra turn mechanic (before, if you chose higher than 1, it crashed the game; now you can queue up many extra turns at once). This ability group has also been given mill. And finally, for some of them, the ones that make sense, choosing 0 has a special effect.
Choosing 0 will...
Discard - Whole hand
Draw or Mill - Whole deck
Lose Life or Take Damage - Life Total
This is meant to make those choices a bit faster for when you just want to discard your whole hand or mill your entire deck or something like that. Scrolling down 1 is more convenient than scrolling up to 50. And 0 had no use otherwise, anyway.

Under "Control/AI", there was a non-functional ability that was supposed to disable the AI. It now does so properly. It's toggled on and off. When it's on, the AI can't cast spells, activate non-mana abilities, or attack with creatures EXCEPT creatures that MUST attack. So, no more waiting for the AI to make decisions that you don't care about. Toggle AI off, and it'll spend virtually no time making choices.

Under Mass Manipulation, when choosing a player, you can now choose more than one.

I was curious, has anyone gotten Champion of Stray Souls to activate it's ability without much issue? I haven't played with it in a long time, but was curious if any work had been done or attempted.

Also, is Kozilek, the Great Distortion even possible?

Just tried my hand at fixing Champion of Stray Souls. It seems to be working a lot better now.

I forgot that Kozilek, the Great Distortion wasn't done. I'm working on it now. I've hit a snag, but it seems to be about 95% done. It restricts the targets to those whose CMC matches at least one card in your hand, and then it has you choose a card in your hand with CMC equal to the target's. It just... doesn't counter. Not sure what's wrong, but the RTA isn't running at all.

As for the card from Commander 2015, I'm not sure what cards you're referring to. I'm not aware of them, so I'm not /planning/ to do them, but I might now that I know they exist (unless migookman or someone else gets to them). Care to link me to them?

This website is really good at having all the cards in a neat visual format. It has almost all the expansions as well. It does well keeping up to date, before the gatherer updates for the "spoilers"

I didn't notice this line last time. I just had a look at the card again. It seems to be working fine now (I just fixed it) except, strangely enough, with lands. You can play lands, but the owner /always/ seems to get the lands no matter what...

Would it be possible to use the code from Hedonist's Trove to make the lands work properly? Albeit, I have no knowledge of if the card works in the same way (in the terms of rules). I would think that they may have the same problem. Maybe. Nightveil Specter seems to also have a similar ability. Would either of their codes be useful in terms of fixing Fiend of the Shadows ?

That's actually the website I tend to go to. I guess I just didn't realize that the set wasn't already fully released... I've already coded many of the cards, and they're already up on gatherer. Perhaps I'm just not sure how the commander sets work.

I actually already did all of that lol. I was just doing other things as well, so I hadn't posted about it, yet. Turned out none of them worked because an engine bug, but I figured out a way to make it cooperate.

I've had a good couple of days. With some assistance, I've managed to fix several complicated cards that people have wanted working for awhile.
Kozilek, the Great Distortion
Hedonist's Trove
Fiend of the Shadows

In the process of working on Fiend of the Shadows and Hedonist's Trove, I discovered a bug in the game engine. Even though origin_controller_can_use makes the controller of Hedonist's Trove and similar cards the only one able to play lands with the ability, the land's owner is still the one who gets control of it. I found a fix for that, and that fix has been inserted into the relevant cards.

I also noticed an issue with cards that damage planeswalkers directly like Wolf of Devil's Breach. A new function fixed this.

All of cards that transform should now change their art properly, as well as their names.

All known bugs with Shadows over Innistrad cards have been dealt with.

Cavern of Souls - Except the "can't be countered" code. Still working on that.

Fixed all known instances of cards referencing basic lands on the battlefield with reference to Wastes. They should now work properly.

Got a few cards from OGW checked off. They'd still not been tested and fixed.
Zendikar Resurgent (Grants basic manual mana abilities to all basic lands, including wastes, so even if you're not using the MM wad to grant basic lands those abilities, it's still usable.)
Devour in Flames (also in the planeswalker direct damage list)
Linvala, the Preserver

A few things remain that I'm planning to look into soon:
Planeswalkers (and Kozilek, the Great Distortion, and now the angel token made by Linvala??) have transparent text boxes.

Token glare (an issue I've noticed with many tokens is that while attacking, they seem to glare. I have a couple of ideas about what the cause might be and how to fix it.)

Consuming Aberration also has a glare. I think. I know that there was a "66666" WAD that I had a long time ago, and the version of Consuming Aberration did it too. Unsure if they are similar, but this is the report from the last time I used the card.

I just really want to make you laugh with this next one: I thought we locked Whisperwood Elemental in the attic because it didn't like us. lol.

Just a quick question, I should have asked earlier but it just came to mind. With a card like Index in mind, what order do cards go on the library? Is the the last selected card (the fifth card technically?) the one you would draw during the next draw step or is it the first selected?

First one chosen is first ONTO the library, last one chosen is last one onto it, putting the LAST chosen card on TOP. Just tested it with Index to be sure.

So, updated and this happened.

Yeah, I know. I fixed all of these a little while ago. My Google Drive got confused because I lost internet for awhile and tried keeping both my local copies and the server-side copies. You can safely ignore those until the next update. They should be harmless.
