whenever I attack with Vampire Nocturnus it asks which planeswalker I want to attack, even when there are no planeswalkers on the battlefield in a 1v1.

Well, if you just want to try doing it correctly, then just delete the ini file that it made and run it again. If the ini file is missing, it'll ask about the paths.

If you want to do it manually, open the ini file and you should find something like this

Each of those may or may not have text after them if it was done incorrectly (they should, and it shouldn't be possible they don't, but it doesn't matter). Just erase each line after the = and replace it with the correct setting.
Debug and Log should be 0 to avoid logging and debug messages.
GoogleDriveCoreFolder should be one of two paths. If you're syncing loose files, it should be the Google Drive folder containing the HEADER.XML file. If you're syncing the packed wad, it should be the Google Drive folder containing the core wad.
GoogleDriveArtFolder is exactly the same as the art, but it will be title "Community Wad Art" on Google Drive. It will contain either the loose folders for the art wads or it will directly contain the art wads themselves depending on whether you're syncing loose or packed files.
GameFolder is the path to the folder containing the game exe.
SyncCore should be 0, 1, or 2. 0: Don't sync. 1: Sync packed. 2: Sync loose.
SyncArt: Same.
CheckDelay is the number of seconds to wait between checking if your game folder is up-to-date.

Working example. (This is mine and works on my computer. It won't work on yours unless your google drive and game folder are setup exactly like mine.)

Note that I have it set to sync packed art files but loose core files. No debugging or logging (this can be toggled by right-clicking the icon). It waits 1 hour between checks.
Thanks, I'll take a look at this later (now is the first time I really had a chance to look this over though). When I tried using the prompts to setup the config file I was never asked for locations for the GoogleDriveCoreFolder, GoogleDriveArtFolder or GameFolder. Maybe you're suppose to put those in manually -- not sure (at least I didn't read that I was suppose to do that somewhere). Just wanted to see a properly setup config file. This is what I would get using the prompts:

Is that what appeared when you ran it without having any ini file initially? It's meant to be run without an ini file present initially, although the way it's written, you should have been prompted with that one (because they're blank, it should have noticed this and prompted for the correct paths). So, no, you should not have to do it manually. But yeah, try putting in the paths manually and let me know if it works.

I just experienced this problem when testing the tool, and it's because the ini file wasn't setup properly. If you open it, you'll see that a few of the fields are probably missing. Specifically, it'll be missing "SleepTime=", and because I didn't put in a default, it simply keeps repeating the entire sync process as fast as it can. I've uploaded a fixed version which will default to one minute intervals and which will also use 5 seconds as the minimum. You don't really need the updated version, though, if the sleep time is the only missing field. Just add it and set the number of seconds.

I'd just edit the previous post, but this is different enough that I'm making it a post of its own.

I'm letting you all know I'll be a less active here for awhile. I'm going to take a break to play Skyrim. I'll still be finishing up Dragons of Tarkir at about the same rate I have been (I think I've average about 20 cards/day; if you get impatient, I don't mind the idea of someone else doing some, just don't do morph cards unless you really understand them because they should all be handled by the same person). However, thanks to the modders that have joined the CW, there are now others around to fix the bugs encountered. Here's a list of things I've intended to do, but which I haven't yet.


I'll still be checking the forums, but I won't be interacting with the CW too much. I've looked into the tokens multiple times, but I can't seem to isolate any particular reason they'd be causing crashes.

For morph, ALL of the morph cards need to have NEO_CHARACTERISTIC_FACEDOWN replace with CW_CHARACTERISTIC_FACEDOWN, and they need various other NEO prefixes changed to CW. Then the ability to view the facedown info needs replaced with the code I used for manifest. It'll be a little less accurate (can't always view the abilities of the facedown card), but it'll work much better with manifest, viewing face down cards from other cards (like Lens of Clarity), and future morph cards (such as the megamorph cards from Dragons of Tarkir). Neo's success with Morph was amazing, but with manifest and more morph cards being introduced, it's just not feasible to do them all that way because of the clever way he handled the text. I'll be coding Megamorph at least as part of the Dragons of Tarkir release. So I'll be doing the coding necessary, but it'll need copied to all of the other morph cards for them to work.

This isn't a definitely thing, for the record. I just wanted you guys to know that if I don't seem as active, that's why, and it shouldn't last forever :)

Ok I made a CW plugin for TFM's Universal Generator. I fixed Stalking Stones and I do not see any issues with Kamahl's Desire and Elvish Harbinger (granted I didn't test the elf). I'll take a look at some of the other stuff when I find the time.

On a side note, I will not work on cards that require elaborate approximations like morph, flip (I did not do anything for Rune-Tail, Kitsune Ascendant // Rune-Tail's Essence), manifest, transform, provoke, overload, planeswalkers, etc. I do not have the time and possibly the ability to learn them well enough to fix bugs with them. I will help where I can though.

That's awesome :) I probably fixed those two and forgot to check them off. I was the last editor of them both.

Temur Battle Rage has been fixed.

I'll make a request to people working on the Community Wad. Please use some sort of naming convention that links functions and maybe localized text that relates to their source file. There are a lot of function files and text permanent files in the community wad. Anything you can do to make it easier to link back to the original source of a function or localized text will be greatly appreciated :) .


Edit - Added Mitotic Slime and Jazal Goldmane to the CW. Legacy Weapon is already there.

Yeah, the Legacy Weapon copy that's in there apparently caused a crash and needed checked over to see if it could be fixed.

As for the function naming, everyone should take a look at CW_MANIFEST.LOL and CW_CONSTANTS.LOL.

It's very neatly organized in my opinion, and every function has the function file's name. Every function starts with CW_Manifest_...()

In addition to this, each constant used is declared in the function file that uses it (in each file if necessary), but is also referenced in CW_CONSTANTS.LOL. They're all commented out, because it's JUST a reference for us to locate where all constants are used. However, it makes working with them REALLY easy.

Just keep in mind that functions and function files in the CW should not use your personal prefix, but rather CW.

I tried to play Chance Encounter in the combination with Mana Crypt. I didn't get any luck counter put on Chance Encounter when I won a coin flip of Mana Crypt.

I experience a strange situation related to cards with convoke. I can activate the blue text of convoke ability appears in those cards (these cards are highlight with red light) ONLY WHEN I play vs. any deck that contains convoke cards. If I play vs. any deck that has no convoke cards, I don't see the red highlight or the blue text 8-[ . Having the 3 functions dlcs as mentioned above in my game folder didn't make any change.

Opalescence has a weird interaction with the God type cards, specifically the multi color ones, I had I believe 11 or 12 (out of the total 20) legendary enchantment creature - God type, when Opalescence entered play all mono color gods became creatures, (I.E. devotion to black was not 5 or higher) but the B/G god did not become a creature - I tried retesting with no mono gods on the field and it occurred again -(the devotion parts worked, i had to have a white devotion of 7 so i tried my best to avoid too many white multi color gods so it didnt affect the others as much) - and the gods that didnt have their devotion cost met stayed enchantments.


I dont want to make this a high priority issue, nor do i think anyone else will try something quite like this because it's ability to win is incredibly low.

Hi, I have an issue about "Dash" ability in FRF. Sometimes it works correctly, sometimes doesn't.
For example, I have a mardu scout and pay 2 mana to dash it. But at this moment, bug makes AI opponent tap an untapped land.(It seems that bug can't be triggered if all lands of AI opponent are tapped.)So the mardu scout comes into battlefield with summoning sickness, no haste, can't attack. And at the end of my turn, mardu scout returns to my hand.
BTW, why not put card_ui_text of FRF into CW?
