Maybe they all have existed in base game(D14.wad,E14.wad).

these definitely don't exist in the base game, and some of the others are from the deck packs, so they've been coded as not everyone has the deck packs.


EDIT: I think it's something to do with missing art.

Hi! My Google Drive created unnecessary copies (Xxxx (1).xml) of some cards to Loose folder. Any knowledge how to handle that or what actually happened?

just go into paint and make a tdx, thats how i got art for Memnarch in the CW - i literally just drew something silly and now it is set to forever override the CW and it is just adorable....

SOMEONE PLEASE TEST THIS

After some experiments with a new deck I made called Eldrazi Invasion, the crashing caused by tokens might be fixed. I separated out the deck and all its cards in a new game directory, and it was still crashing. Since only a few cards and a single non-mana token was involved, it made it a bit easier to test. I noticed that the crashing seemed to stop when I added in a multiverse id tag. So, all tokens now have <MULTIVERSEID value="0" />. This might stop the crashing. I also noticed four tokens that had registrations and those registrations have been removed (they were registrations for mana on mana producing tokens such as Eldrazi Spawn and Llanawar Elves, but that mana should be registered on the card that creates the mana-producing token). I've forced the wad to repack so this update is available immediately. My new deck is also available, for the record. I really hope this works, but I hve no real idea if it will.

Memnarch doesn't appear to be in the CW. Also, I'm not aware of any way to add art to the CW.

To add art to the CW, just add it to one of the subfolders in the loose art folder. The loose cards and loose art are both in Loose Wad Files.

Just try to put it into the right folder. Alternatively, you could actually add it to the right folder within the loose core files. You'll have to make the ART_ASSETS and ILLUSTRATIONS folders, but the wad packer will move them when it packs the wad next. Unfortunately, I haven't updated that bit of code since I first wrote the program, so it won't put it into the right art wad. I wouldn't recommend taking that route and I can't guarantee it'll work.

that is odd, i have a Memnarch I will check the wad file for it but i know for a fact that the art file had to be named as CW******* (note: stars take place of the number)

It is a problem with Teferi's Imp. It causes to discard and to draw many cards with an increasing amount when it phases.

My favourite test deck Mardu Midrange still crashes on a regular basis. :(

Zombie tokens are fixed from what i can see

tokens made by Akroan Crusader still cause the game to crash when they die in combat

I see no difference between the vanilla tokens and the CW tokens except two.
1: The ExportVersion is 1 on CW tokens and 3 or sometimes 7 on vanilla tokens. However, I wouldn't expect this to be the problem because to the best of my knowledge, the export version has no effect on the game itself and is instead a reference for Stainless coders that know what it means.
2: The CW tokens tend to have longer names. However, Akroan Crusader's token is only 2 characters longer than the vanilla soldier tokens. I don't think this would be the cause, but it's a possibility. However, the Zombie tokens' names weren't changed, so if they weren't working before, then this isn't the problem.

I've confirmed that it's NOT just because there are too many (because it still crashed even when there were only about 20 cards and only one token in the test folder).

I sacrificed a token created by Next Invader and it crashed the game (it was the only token, so I know it came from that). At the time it was created, there wasn't anything out to double my tokens or anything, so it was just the one. Here's Nest Invader:
