UPDATE: This has been done for quite awhile. All cards with the exception of a very small number are available in teh CW. /UPDATE

I'm finally getting started on Dragons of Tarkir.

To start with, this set will be worked on with cards being coded and then released in the CW. I will test once all cards are completed, but if you feel like testing for me and letting me know that a card works, it'll save me a bit of time. I WILL release the set as a standalone wad when it is complete for those that don't use the CW.

Note that the 28 already completed are either in the base game, were already in the CW, or are simple enough that TFM's generator will have completed them.

That said, I won't be doing art until I'm otherwise done. MTGImage.com has been taken down by WotC, so the best place to get the full collection (and the only place my auto-tool works with) is no longer an option. If someone wants to starts collecting art, that would be amazing. Just drop it in here in either png or jpg format (click add to drive or open in drive to add images). If you want to go ahead and resize/crop it, that'd be cool, but I don't mind doing that bit. Just make sure its filename is CW#.PNG or CW#.JPG where # is its multiverseID from gatherer. If you convert it to TDX yourself, drop it right in here.

EDIT: I'm done with A-C. Just did those all this morning. Haven't done any Morph creatures, yet. I intend to rework how Morph is done (because it currently uses a very clunky system for the text, and I honestly prefer the method I used for manifest as far as viewing the card goes). Feel free to go and test them.

I actually just thought of ANOTHER way to do it, but that's got to wait for later. It might never be done, and in fact probably won't. But the idea is to store the card's face-up values in a chest (basically like it does now, except use StoreCopiableValues), and then when you view a face-down card, grant the abilities to the bottom card of the library and view it, then revert it.

I also adde the .tdx files, they are already resize but they are 251 kB each instead of 126

Damnable Pact through Haven of the Spirit Dragon are done but untested. All morph cards were skipped, as well as Dragon Hunter, Glade Watcher, and Hedonist's Trove. Those three should be done later, but so far, I either can't do them correctly or am putting them off until later. But all of the others are ready for testing should anyone want to.

I through L done, but untested.

Icefall Regent and Lurking Arynx added to impossible cards. Do you guys think I should approximate Icefall Regent by having it return the spell to the caster's hand unless they pay 2?

For Lurking Arynx, there was an idea awhile ago for how we might do these, but it'll require a lot of work for relatively little effect, so it won't be any time soon (if at all).

It depends.. if the card is still gonna count as casted I think it'd be better to leave it behind

It has a very similar effect to Monastery Siege. Could you convert it from that card?

Actually, that one doesn't have ts second ability coded. I know, because I coded that one lol.

Coding Icefall Regent that way could create exploits (because it would still count as having cast the spell), for example in a deck with Illusions that die when they are targeted by a spell an opponent could attempt cast a spell that targets 1 Illusion and Icefall Regent then not pay the {2}, that way it would return to his/her hand and still take out an Illusion. Another possible exploit would be the opponent has a way to gain life by casting spells (for example an Angel's Feather) then casts a spell targeting Icefall Regent (such as Guard Duty) just to have the spell return to their hand allowing them to use it for something else while still gaining life.

I don't think just having the spell return to their hand is a good approximation.

It would be clunky and I seriously doubt the AI could handle it, but I could give Icefall Regent constant protection from the card instances in the opponent's hand and grant each of them the ability to increase their casting cost by {2} and remove the protection from that card (and probably remove that cost increase/protection removal if any other action is performed, like with delve). In this way, that kind of exploit wouldn't be available. Protection doesn't work on untargeted abilities, correct? If so, then this should work.

It would get really clunky when you start considering that the granted ability would also have to identify itself as a mana ability to avoid triggering Burning-Tree Shaman. This would also mean that it wouldn't work for cards like Hurricane without making the opponent pay {2} more (even though in that case it shouldn't be needed). There are probably also other interactions I am missing.

Protection does and doesn't work on non-targeted abilities. It does work in that if you have protection from a card and that card does non-targeted damage, the damage will be negated (from the protection), but other effects may not be negated such as exiling.

So again this is not a good approximation.
