Djeru is definitely possible because we already have Ajani Steadfast. I'll try to do him later today, but I don't expect to be able to test him for awhile.

Djeru will likely require that the damage function be modified to check for damage reduction. Ajani works the same way. Still, definitely possible.

I went ahead and created TOKEN_SNAKE_C_5_4_G_CW_1 and updated CW_TOKENS.lol for the tokens referenced in Rhonas's Last Stand. The reason is that I need to add a bunch of tokens for the cards I'm coding right now for Eternalize and there's a sequence of numbers for the tokens, so I wanted to make sure they were included/didn't overlap. If you want to grab those files, you get them from the loose files directory on Google Drive or wait until tomorrow's CW update.

Out of curiosity (I've been very out of touch with this set), is Eternalize always exactly the same? Pay a cost and make a token copy of this card with P/T 4/4, it's black, and it's a zombie plus its other types? If so, then that could be added to the Universe Card Generator very easily.

EDIT: Alright, so I've added Eternalize to the Universal Card Generator plugin, but are there any other mechanics that should be added before I upload it?

EDIT2: I've just added Afflict, and I'm adding Embalm now. It's a little late for Embalm, but just on the off-chance people make custom cards with it, it'll be there. However, this note will be important for later cards with Eternalize: I'm going to make a judgement call for naming of the eternalize and embalm tokens. Instead of having their types and P/T and everything, they'll just be "TOKEN_EMBALM_[CARDNAME]" or "TOKEN_ETERNALIZE_[CARDNAME]". The other information was there to ensure that the tokens could be referenced without looking them up and without interfering with one another. Since embalm and eternalize tokens don't have this issue (they can use nothing more than their CARDNAME tag to ensure ease of referencing and avoid interference), the extra information isn't necessary. It'll also mean they're grouped together in the token list when sorted alphabetically.

However, I'm not sure if they should or should not have "TOKEN_" at the beginning. My vote is yes, because that'll mean everything else can stay the way it is (my tools often check the filename for "TOKEN_" to determine if it's a token card). However, if you guys think it should be removed, I'd be fine with that. It would, however, take some time to correct the various tools the check for this.

I'll go through the cards already in the CW soon to replace the tokens' names in the embalm cards, so it shouldn't affect you guys on that end, but any eternalize cards you guys make in the future should use this method. Another benefit to doing it this way is that it allows the card generator to generate the tokens very easily. Otherwise, it would be very error prone as any slight miscalculation of the card's stats would invalidate the name used for creating the token.

Every card that is not a split card that has been spoiled to date has been coded AND fully tested, with the following exceptions:

-- Avid Reclaimer (coded, but failing tests; have tried multiple ways to get the lifegain to work; mana ability works, but lifegain does not; current version has mana trigger, but I have tried including the lifegain in other spots to no avail; code available here for anyone who wants to troubleshoot: https://pastebin.com/RT7WbHDk

-- Nimble Obstructionist (impossible)

The issue with the life gain on Avid Reclaimer is that when a land auto-taps, it doesn't fire any triggers except "BECAME_TAPPED". It does NOT fire "BECAME_TAPPED_FOR_MANA". So, it can be approximated one way or the other. To one end, there's only gaining life when you definitely should: put the life gain in the activated ability. To the other end, there's always gaining life when you should, and possibly also when you shouldn't: put the life gain in a BECAME_TAPPED triggered ability.

It might be possible to limit this a bit, but by and large, it'll always have one or the other of these two issues. I think that personally, I'd probably go with possibly gaining life when you shouldn't since it's only going to really matter if you use it to produce other colors of mana or specifically tap it within a cost of another action (whether that action is another card's "tap another permanent..." or even if it turns into a creature and attacks). These should be relatively rare; rare enough that I wouldn't personally be worried about it.

Torment of Hailfire is coded and tested. It's also fully commented if anyone wants to take a look.

I've got Oketra's Last Mercy, Bontu's Last Reckoning, and The Scorpion God from fallenangle, and they've all been tested.

I have a question for the both of you. I mentioned this possibility before, but I'm wondering if it might be best to exclude the MID from the FILENAME. If we do, then we no longer have issues with updated cards, and we also avoid issues with coding spoiled cards before they're on Gatherer. There's no real reason to have the MID in the FILENAME, since its main purpose is to avoid overlap, but in the rare case where there are two versions of the same card that aren't differentiated by something else (such as MM), simply appending a number would work fine. But that's virtually never necessary.

Updating the card generator would be really easy (I've already updated it once to add "_CW_" to the filename, so I already know how to handle that. If we do make that change, I won't bother (at least for now) changing the cards already in the CW, but it would be simple enough to make the change from here going forward. Thoughts?

Also, I want to make sure that neither of you object to the bit I mentioned before of the change to Embalm and Eternalize tokens. While I did phrase as I'm making a judgement call to do this, I'm not actually intending to just do it without you guys being okay with it. It's more meant as "I'm going to do this unless you explicitly say you don't like the change."

EDIT: Regarding Avid Reclaimer being turned into a creature, that does seem pretty likely now that I've looked at the card again... :lol:
