I have seen such AI behaviour with other creatures with Champion,too.I reported another one - Nova Chaser - few days ago.That sneaky AI loves to cheat and exploit code in it's favour.stassy wrote:Ah yes, forgot to report in V1 that AI could bypass the Champion requisite by having a copy of the creature casted and targeting the dupe, will retest for V2

Describe the Bug:
When Gemstone Caverns is in my opening hand and I choose to begin the game with Gemstone Caverns on the battlefield, I'm not asked to exile a card from my hand and the Gemstone Caverns doesn't get a luck counter, so it only provides colorless mana.
Which card did behave improperly ?

Which update are you using?(date,name)Which type(Duel,Gauntlet,Sealed Deck)

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?
Gemstone Caverns should begin with a luck counter and I should exile a card from my hand. So should Gemstone Caverns add one mana of any color to my mana pool.
PS : Furthermore it seems the legendary rule doesn't apply to Gemstone Caverns

Can you provide some example?
Because I tested with Bottle Gnomes which is supposed to be an ASM card and it worked as intended.

confirmed, also seems to be when Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs is in the bf the AI no longer attack but those that must.

Sorry, but I don't understand this latest bug : if the AI has already a Nova Chaser in play and plays another Nova Chaser, is perfectly legal to exile the first for the latest.
Also, I tested in a clean game a if you play the Trio without having something to champion, it correctly goes in the graveyard after you click on the wrong type permanent.

Strange bug. I cleaned the code a bit, it's suppose to work right now.

About Nova Chaser the bug no longer happens after your fix for it on Gatecrash-V2.
Thoughweft Trio bug was reported for V1 but after your general fix for Champion code (I suppose)with the Nova Chaser bug in V2, Thoughweft Trio is fixed,too.AI no longer exploits it and no crash happens either.
