Describe the Bug:
For some reason when Air Elemental is the top card of your library, Vampire Nocturnus displays it as "Rebel". See screen shots.

I'm not entirely sure how these orange cards work anyways, should this be in the incorrect legacy text thread or something? Since it was an interaction, I put it here.

Was Air Elemental actually the top card? I only ever see it when it's a placeholder during a bug.

Usually that is the case but it happen also in a clean game, so it's confirmed

In the second screenshot, you can see that I actually drew the Air Elemental. But I know what you mean, its usually a place holder card.

Since this is such a weird bug I tried it again for the hell of it in Jan 2014 v2

Interesting, I finally saw this odd bug somewhere else and thought I would update this old thread.

Oblivion Ring on an Air Elemental shows the removed card to be "Rebel" just like the Vampire Nocturnus did.

It works going in reverse, too - something trying to display subtype Viashino shows it as Ancestral Recall (Adaptive Automaton is the easiest way to see it in action). The overlap is only one card/subtype wide in each direction, at least.
